Clay cleared his throat.
"Alright." He said, trying to ignore the instinct to leave this miserable place. "If anyone wants to go first, you're more than welcome."
Princess Hannah looked up, and then her voice cut through the silence.
"To the kingdom of Castledale, it would appear borders are being crossed on a daily basis now, out of regular trade and traveling time..." Her eyes drifted accusingly to the king of Castledale, a man named Eret.
He raised an eyebrow.
"Alright, I'll check the weekly trades and make sure no one's going out of schedule."
His glowing eyes glinted in the light of the room.
This light banter went on for a few minutes, until Clay's eyes drifted to the one person in the room he had promised to ignore for the entire day, as long as possible.
The one person, and yet as soon as their eyes met, as soon as she returned his gaze, by an accidental glimpse, he was done.
