We've had a few lessons on dueling taught by Professor Lockheart. In my opinion, he's obnoxious. Anyhow, by one of the lessons Professor Snape suggested he pick someone from slytherin house to dueling Harry and of course he chose me.

Rumors spread that he might be the heir of slytherin even though he's been sorted into griffindor. Since only the heir of Slytherin would be able to speak the language of the snakes. Parseltounge.
Didn't faze me though. Potter is still such a pussy. Needless to say, things were different from then on.
