Paparazzi pictures

Katie's POV

I wake up to Melissa almost falling off the bed and I can't help but quietly laugh. I look at my alarm clock on my nightstand and see that it's 6:30 AM. I roll over to wake Melissa up if not we would be late. "Mel.. Darling wake up we're going to be late" I say with my raspy irish morning voice. " I want to stay in bed forever " Melissa mumbles into her pillow making it very hard for Katie to even understand. "What if you get up right now and I make you breakfast? " Melissa turns around to face me and kisses me and says " i'm up "

time skip

We had just finished getting ready and we were about to leave for set when we see a bunch of paparazzi outside our apartment building. I look at Melissa and see the panic rise on her face and my first instinct is to try to calm her down. " Darling, look at me it's alright we can just go on about our day and ignore them okay? " " okay ". Melissa says while taking a deep breathe.

Me and Mel start walking and I let Melissa walk in front of me so know the paparazzi don't get that suspicious. I see a bunch of flashes in the corner of my eye and can't help but think of what the internet thing will say about this.

Melissa's POV

We arrive on set and I look at Katie and can't seem to read her face. "Babe are you okay" I whisper in her ear so no one near us can hear. "yeah i'm fine"      " Katie, I know when somethings wrong" I say with a more serious tone. " I'm just worried about the pictures what if people suspects anything" I hear Katie say sounding nervous. " It's going to be alright I promise we don't have to say anything to the public just let them gossip around until its no longer big news okay? " " you're right thank you " I check to see if anyone is around and give her a quick peck and walk to my trailer.

Nicole walks up to me and starts squealing with excitement. " Hey Nicole what's up why are you more excited than usual? " " Are you and Katie dating?? " Nicole practically blurted out. I froze and didnt know what to do or say. " i um i uh n-no we're not.. why? " " I saw the paparazzi pictures all over the news pages and it looks like you two are together" oh god Katie was right I thought to myself. " Oh yea.. we had a movie night and then i fell asleep at her apartment and then we decided to just leave together not knowing the paparazzi was going to be there " I answer quickly trying to make the story sound believable. " Oh okay. I was just wondering " Nicole said sounding a little bit disappointed.

I rush to find Katie on set to tell her the fake story i told so if anyone asked her, she'll have the same story. I finally found her reading on the set of Catco. " Katie we have to talk " " Darling what's wrong "       " Nicole asked me if we were dating and I said no and then I said that I came over to your apartment for a movie night and I ended up falling asleep and we decided to just leave for work together not knowing the paparazzi was going to be there-" Katie cut off my rambling " Darling it's alright if anyone asks me about the pictures i'll just tell them what you said alright " My heart rate slowly comes back to normal at the sound of Katie's soothing voice. " Okay okay thank you i have to go love you " " love you too "

time skip

Me and Katie both got asked the same question all day which we both answered the exact same fake story that's very believable. We both get home at the same time since we filmed the last scene of the day together. We walk through the door and put our stuff in our shared bedroom. " Katie " Katie hums as a response " can we go to sleep right now i'm exhausted " " but darling its 8:30 " I pout and she walks up to me and kisses my pout away. " alright we can go to sleep go get dressed and i'll make the bed " I smile very widely walking to our closet to get out of my uncomfortable clothes.

I get out and see Katie in the bed with a book in her hands. I climb on top of her making her put her book down and she wraps her arms around my waist and pulls me closer. We stare in each other's eyes for what seemed like an eternity but it was only for a minute or two. We get lost in each others eyes until I feel a wave of sleep hit over me. My eyes slowly start to shut and I feel myself rolling off of Katie and resting my head on her shoulder. I'm about to fall asleep when I hear to love of my life say " Goodnight darling I love you "
" Goodnight Katie I love you more " " impossible " Katie whispers in my ear.
