The wedding

A/N: i'm getting really tired of this story so i'm skipping to the wedding and stuff also i'll probably have a new book coming out soon so stay tune for that!

Third person POV:

It was December 5th 2021 Katie and Melissa both decided on a winter/christmas wedding. Katie was currently getting ready in one of the rooms while Melissa was getting ready in the other. Katie was wearing a black strapless dress and Melissa was wearing a white strapless dress. They both wanted something non traditional and they thought the black and white theme would be special and beautiful.

While Katie was doing some final touches Melissa was starting to get really nervous and started panicking. "I can't do this, I can't do this. What if-" She gets interrupted by her sister Jessica. "Hey no what if's everything is going to go perfectly now calm down" Melissa finally started to feel a little better but while she starts to calm down Katie gets nervous in the other room. "What if it goes horribly what if Melissa sees me and runs away what if-" Katie's mother interrupts her rambling. "Katherine take a deep breath I can guarantee you that this will go perfectly and Melissa will definitely not run away."
Katie takes shaky deep breaths trying to calm herself and eventually it works.

They were both finished getting ready physically and mentally so it was finally time for the wedding. Katie walked in first and waited for Melissa to go down the aisle. As soon as Katie spots Melissa tears run down both of their faces. And once they're standing in front of each other even more tears run down. The officiant talks for a little while and then it's finally turn for their vows and Katie goes first.
"Melissa the first time I saw you I thought that you were the most beautiful girl i've ever seen. The first time that we talked I thought that your voice was the most sweetest voice i've ever heard. Our first scene together I thought you were the most talented actress I ever acted with. Our first date I thought that the way you casually talked was so intriguing. The first time we kissed I thought your lips were the softest ever. I want all of our firsts to last forever and ever. I love you so much and I am so excited to start out new chapter together."
Now it was time for Melissa's vows and they both already had ruined their makeup.
"Oh wow I don't think I can top that" Everyone let's out a teary laugh. "Let me start off by saying I am the luckiest person in the world to be standing here right now. Katie, I didn't really believe in true love before I  met you. You are the light of my life, my soulmate and my one true love and i'm going to be forever grateful to be here with you in this moment. I love you and i'm so excited to be your wife" 
Katie gives Melissa one of her biggest smiles ever and Mel happily returns it. The officiator keeps talking for a while and Katie and Melissa were honestly not listening at all just getting lost in each other's eyes. They snap back to reality when he says "Do you Katie, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?" "I do" Katie says with her voice cracking from all the tears. "And do you Melissa, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?" "I do" She says with as much excitement. "You may now kiss the bride" They both lean in simultaneously for the most mesmerizing kiss ever. They will forever remember that one kiss because that moment was so joyful. As soon as they pull apart they have the biggest smile on their faces that won't go away. They walk down the aisle hand in hand and head over to the after party.

time skip

It's a couple hours after the wedding and everyone is having a good time dancing, singing, drinking, eating. It was time for Melissa and Katie to slow dance and they were so excited to cherish that moment. Melissa wraps her arms around Katie's neck and Katie snakes her arm around her waist. They both start swaying slowly and press their foreheads together. "I've dreamt of this moment for the longest time. It still doesn't feel real" Melissa whispers against Katie's lips. "I know I can't believe you're finally my wife" Katie whispers back.

Once the dance was over the whole night flew by so quickly. Melissa and Katie we're laying in bed anxious and excited for the next day. They were going to Hawaii for their honeymoon and couldn't wait for it. They fell asleep in each other's arms with a smile that never left their face.

The sun shines through bright and early and Katie and Melissa were up a few moments before just admiring each other's presence. They had everything already packed so they headed to the airport right away. They get to the airport and check in their bags, get their tickets and everything. They still had a few hours before their flight takes off so they got a quick lunch at an airport restaurant and just sat there talking to each other. They get on the plane and Katie quickly gets out her book to start reading while Melissa falls asleep on her shoulder.

They finally arrive to Hawaii and the first thing they do is get their bathing suits on and head to the beach. They both loved the beach and just listening to the sound of the ocean while being near each other was literally paradise for the both of them. Their trip would only last a few days due to work schedules but they were going to make the most of it. "This is our first trip as a married couple" Katie breaks the silence. "It will definitely not be our last"

And they end up living happily ever after.
