After the girls had agreed to the terms of Empire, Hakim and Karina started hanging out immediately. Going to all kinds of social event's together and clubbing it up. The started to really become friends, but didn't tell Cookie, Andre, or Jamal about this. They agreed that as long as it stayed a secret, there would be no extra drama or different treatment. Jamal would be pissed if he knew Hakim secretly planned on messing around with Karina as more than friends.

Posting pictures on Instagram constantly of them hugged up in a friendly fashion and Hakim and Karina putting posts about each other on Twitter and Facebook put the media in a frenzy. The two were all over TMZ and Extra. Even Access was all over them wondering if the relationship was strictly platonic. Hakim had even appeared on Ellen telling how much he and Karina's friendship meant to him.

"This is started to get fun." Karina said as she road in the car with Hakim on their way to the club.

"I know. Lean in. Let's take a pic." Hakim said.

Karina leaned in and secretly sniffed his cologne. He smelled so good. She really wanted to take a strong wiff of it, but refrained because that would just be creepy. She didn't want him to know she was crazy....yet.

Cookie and Kristy sat in Cookie's cozy living room watching TMZ. Next, they would watch Extra and Access. They were trying to get as much information as to what the world thought about Hakim as possible. They had Porsha in the other room on the computer searching up news about the topic.

"This better be good. I hope we didn't go to all this trouble for nothing." Cookie mumbled.

Hakim and Karina's segment finally came on. Harvey announced the summary of the segment.

"It seems Hakim likes women of all sizes and colors. A very beautiful plus sized woman has been seen with him all around the city. He takes her everywhere. We hear she and her sister are performers. The duet go by the name K Lovely. Raquel, we heard you have some information on this." Harvey said as he stared st the camera.

"Well yes. These two girl's names are Karina and Kristy. They used to perform at Bbw Club for plus size women and were some of the best singers there. Basically, Hakim and Karina stated in an interview when one of our TMZ crew members stopped them that they are just really great friends and that they met when he stumbled in the BBW club tipsy and she took him home and nursed him back to health." Raquel Harper stated.

"She sounds like a nice girl. She's gorgeous. I mean, even a guy who only loves skinny women would agree that she's gorgeous." Harvey Levin said excitedly.

"Yea. I have information that she recently got signed by Empire last week. She and Kristy must be really good to Hakim and even more good at performing." Max Roger said.

"This is some good shit. Hakim sure knows how to lie." Cookie said.

"Yea." Kristy said. Her phone rang and she looked down to see it was her boyfriend, Thomas. "Hello?" she said answering.

"Why you haven't been answering my calls the past five days huh? I guess since you famous and yo lil crazy ass sister fucking Hakim you don't want to talk to me now. The same nigga that pays yo bills." Thomas said getting mad.

Sometimes Kristy wondered why she stayed with him. He was mean as hell sometimes and had even out his hands on her once or twice. She'd been with him for three years nonetheless, and had taken all his bullshit. That's why he stayed, and that's why she believed that it would get better. She believed that one day he would realize what he had.

"Thomas shut the fuck up nigga. I'm with my boss right now, so if you have a problem with me working so you won't have to pay my bills, then you can get the fuck off my phone." Kristy said before hanging up.

She really didn't want to be bullshitted today. Even Thomas's fine ass could get cussed out. He wasn't even like a real boyfriend to her anymore. After she got signed by Empire, he kind of drifted from her. He got meaner and called more often, but never came to see her anymore. She hadn't had intercourse with him in nine days.

"I suggest you not stay with him if he disrespects you. I think he doesn't deserve you if he's gon act a fool." Cookie said casually before turning back to the TV.

"I know. It's just that... well I feel like maybe he'll change when he realizes that I love him and that he can trust me." Kristy said.

"Trust me, don't wait for shit like that. It may never come and you could end up waisting your life or worse, rotting in jail for 17 years over it." Cookie said before getting up and walking out of the room.

Kristy thought about Cookie's words and decided to apply them to her life. Maybe Thomas wasn't worth waiting for. She decided she'd tell Thomas to meet her for lunch and then dump him at lunch. He was just mad because he didn't have any control over her anymore. He knew that at one point she would figure out that she was too good for him. This was that point.
