Cookie sat with her three sons watching the news. Kristy and Karina had gone to prepare for the performance in a couple days.

"This just in, Anika Calhoun's body was found nailed and tied to a tree. She was brutally murdered by someone, but nobody knows who. She had stab wounds all over her stomach, bruises all over her face, and a shot wounds in her neck, forehead, and chest. It looks like she was tortured and killed." The reporter said.

Everyone's eyes got huge. Hakim was in shock. He's just talked to her last week. This was crazy. Andre was shocked, but he knew who did it. Jamal was in shock and his jaws had fallen.

"Well the bitch deserved it." Cookie said changing the channel.

"This is crazy. I can't believe this." Jamal said. "Biretti would really go that far?" Jamal asked.

"I guess so." Hakim said.

"Y'all know nothing about Biretti. He wouldn't do this. He's all talk." Andre said.

"Then who did?" Cookie said.

"Somebody who wasn't Biretti." Andre said before walking out. He had a phone call to make.

Once he got to his apartment, he saw his wife on the couch watching tv. She looked bored. Her baby bump was starting to show. Barely, but it was there.

"Hey babe." She said turning to look at him.

"Hey. I'm gonna ho to my office. I have some calls yo make. Did you know Anika got killed?" he asked.

"What?" she said. Her eyes grew large.

"I know right? Her body was found tied and nailed to a tree. She had stab and shot wounds. She was tortured and then killed." Andre said.

"Who would do that?" She asked.

"Somebody who wasn't Biretti." Andre said before walking to his office.

He picked up his phone and dialed Karina's number. She answered on the second ring.

"Hellooo?"she sang happily into the phone. A little too happy.

"Cut the damn act. I know you did this or had it done." Andre said.

There was a pause. Andre thought he had her, but nobody had Karina. The only person that could get her died a long time ago.

"What are you talking about? What did I do?" she asked.

"You killed Anika." he said.

"That's a lie. I would never do that. I didn't even know she was dead." she lied.

"You're a damn fool if you think I believe that bullshit." Andre said getting mad.

"What bullshit? I would never kill anything but a fly or roach... a mosquito on a bad day." Karina said.

"Oh my god Karina just tell the truth." Andre said.

"Bye Andre." Karina said in a raspy voice before she hung up.

"What the fuck?" Andre said looking at the receiver.

She most definitely wasn't one of those dainty girls. He could tell she probably liked shooting. She was just so familiar. But who was she? He couldn't put his finger on it. He knew her from somewhere.

He got up and went to his living room to see his wife asleep. He out a blanket over her and kissed her cheek. He went to his room and sat on the bed.

Cookie Lyon was no fool. She knew somebody she knew killed Anika. She didn't care who. She didn't even cared that they killed Anika. She was happy as shit that Anika was dead. She just wondered if Lucius had this done.
