Omniscient POV

Tonight was the night of the performance. Karina and Kristy had been decorated fiercely by Fluffles, Shaquan, and Sweets. They had Karina and Kristy looking unrecognizable.

Kristy had on a black skirt with a long slit in it with black stilettos and a turquoise Peplum top. She had long curly weave that was black with blonde tips flowing down her back. She had on dark brown lip stick and a smokey eye shadow. She had on some silver hoop earrings and a big diamond ring on her middle finger.

Karina had on a black leather jump suit with long sleeves. It looked like it had been painted on, but it was really just stretchable. Her long hair was in a bun at the top of her head and she wore square gold loops for earrings. Her fingers were filled with rings and she wore a silver chain. She wore black high heeled sneakers. She had on pink lipstick and gold eye shadow. She had on false lashes and some green contacts in her eyes.

Hakim went on stage first wearing his white t-shirt with a black gucci vest on and some baggy black jeans. He had on some timberlands and a thick gold chain. He had a star in each side of his head.

"How y'all feeling tonight. Me and the K Lovely girls bout to turn it out fa y'all tonight!" he exclaimed.

The audience went wild. Screams from girls could be heard from every direction. Karina and Kristy walked onto the stage and the crowed cheered even more. Kristy sat at the key board and her fingers went to work playing Ain't Nobody by Chaka Khan which was her and Karina's favorite song. Karina started doing her dance she made up to this song. Hakim danced with her.

"Captured effortlessly. That's the way it was. It came so naturally I did not know it was love. Now we're flying to the stars I hope this night will last forever."

Kristy sang the first verse. Everybody cheered as she sung her part they had rehearsed. Then Karina joined her in singing the chorus.

"Ain't nobody loves me better. Makes me happy. Makes me feel this way. Ain't nobody loves me better than you."

Hakim started rapping. The girls went crazy. A girl even threw her panties on the stage. Hakim frowned when he noticed they had a stain on them. He finished his verse and harmonized with Karina and Kristy as they did the chorus. Then Karina took over then next part while looking into Hakim's eyes.

"Well, first you put yo arms around me. Then you put ya charms around me. I can't resist ya sweet surrender. Make my nights so warm and tender. We stare into each others eyes. What we see is no surprise. Got a feeling most would Treasure. And a love so deep we can not measurrrreeeee nobody! That can make me feel this waaaay! This way!"

Hakim watched as Karina sung her heart out. It was as if she had become another person. He had never seen this much of her go into anything. He could tell she had her soul in it. That's when he fell in love with her.

Once the song eneded, he grabbed Karina and kissed her in front of the audience. There were oos and aws, and then more cheers. Karina wrapped her arms around Hakim and deepened the kiss. It was as if things were coming together for the two of them.

Meanwhile, Cookie was on the phone with Andre. He was crying. He was hysterical. He was talking fast and she could barely understand his words.

"Andre calm down and slowly tell me what's going on?" Cookie said as she walked to the dressing rooms hall.

"Mom, it's Rhonda, my wife. She was asleep, and I walked in, and when I lifted the covers to get in bed with her, there was blood... down there! I woke her up and we're at the hospital. She had a miscarriage." he said.

"What hospital y'all at?" Cookie asked.

"Saint Jills." Andre said.

"I'm on my way.", she said.

Cookie could tell he was crying. She rushed out of the building and to the nearest taxi. She dialed Jamal's number in her way to the hospital.

"Hey mom?" he said.

"It's Rhonda, she had a miscarriage." Cookie said.

"What hospital they at?"

"Saint Jills." Cookie said.

"I'm on my way." He said.
