Karina, Kristy, Cookie, Jamal, Hakim, and Andre stood waiting for Lucius to come to the meeting room with Chaka Khan. Cookie and Jamal both matched wearing grey and white. Hakim decided on a black t shirt with blue jeans and Andre had on a suit as usual.

Karina and Kristy were dressed in all black. Kristy had on a black v neck blouse with a black leather skirt and black leather boots. She had her twists down and curled at the tips.. Karina wore a black bodycon dress. She had her hair in three buns. Two in the front, and one in the back.

"I seriously think Lucius is playin." Karina said.

"Yea. His ass probably tryin ta stall." Cookie said.

"Let's just think positively." Kristy said. "I mean, there is a chance that he isn't lying." Kristy said.

"Bullshit. You just saying that cause you want Chaka to be yo mom." Karina said.

"Stop. We ain't gon get nowhere thinking negative." Jamal said.

"When it comes to Lucius, the only way to think is negatively." Cookie said.

"True. If you get your hopes up, he'll just knock em down and destroy you in the process." Andre said.

Karina couldn't help but feel bad for Andre. She knew how he felt. At least he could trust his mom. She didn't have parents or anything. All she had was her sister.

The door swung open and in walked Lucius in his normal pimp attire. Well, at least that's what Karina thought of his look. It was pimpish to her. It was ridiculous to think someone who dressed like that could be anything more than a liar.

"When it comes to the paternity of Kristy, Yvette Marie Stevenson, you are the mother." Lucius said slamming a piece of paper down on the table.

Kristy grabbed it and looked at it. A large smile appeared on her face. She began to cry tears of joy at finally having a mother.

"When it comes to Karina, Yvette Marie Stevenson, you are the mother." Lucius said slamming down another piece of paper.

"It can't be." Karina said before looking at the paper.

Her eyes grew big. Her mother was Chaka Khan! The woman she had lived with wasn't her mother. The woman she wanted to kill Lucius over was a monster. She dropped the paper before she burst into tears.

"It's okay. Momma's here." Yvette/ Chaka Khan said.

"I know. " Soon, Kristy joined the hug, the everyone else, even Lucius.

That's when Andre finally remembered why Karina seemed so familiar. He was the one that killed the lady that kidnapped her and Kristy. Lucius was just there to make sure things went right. He remembered her telling Kristy she was scared and afraid.

He remembered seeing a younger version of her and Kristy run out the house. He remembered taking an interest in her after that. He remembered trying to keep tabs on her without his father's knowledge. He remembered that he fell in love with her.
