Karina and Hakim had been "friends" for a while. They were in all actuality real friends, but didn't tell anyone. They didn't want to deal with Cookie and Jamal's questions and constant warnings not to mess around or get in too deep. Hakim was really starting to sprout feelings for Karina, and Karina was really starting to feel it heavily that she was falling for him.

"Karina, Cookie and Jamal need you at the office." Kristy said over the phone to Karina.

Kristy had been really happy since she broke up with Thomas. She hadn't remembered the last time she felt so alive and happy with life. She had been dealing with Thomas's constant criticism and mean comments so long, she had forgotten what it felt like to not have anyone call her names. She caught herself smiling at every chance she got.

"Alright. I'll be there." Karina said as she and Hakim picked up their coffees and left the cafe they were hanging at.

"The two weeks is up you know." Hakim said as they walked out of the Cafe and to the car.

"Yea. And?" Karina said knowing full well what was coming next.

"You my girl now." Hakim said nonchalantly as they got into the car and thanked the driver.

"Hmmm. Let's post a pic on social media of us kissing and tell the world. That'll be convincing." Karina said.

She had been wanting to kiss Hakim for the longest. Those juicy lips stayed on her mind 24/7. She wanted to suck them off his face. She knew they would be soft and tasty.

Hakim pulled out his phone and grabbed Karina by her face and started kissing her. He quickly snapped multiple photos of them kissing, but didn't stop kissing her after he finished. Karina wrapped her arms around Hakim as he kissed her and made the kiss deepen. She was so into it, that she forgot where they were supposed to go.

By the time they pulled up to the "Empire" building, Cookie and Jamal were standing outside looking in the car. Cookie shook her head and smirked in amusement. Jamal smiled, but on the inside, knew his brother would probably not make it with a girl like Karina. She was too mysterious.

As they stepped out the car, Kristy ran over to Karina to greet her.

"Thu- I mean K-Karina hey!" Kristy said.

Cookie noticed this and her eye brow rose. She then quickly let it go. Maybe Kristy was going to call Karina by a nick name she had given her. She knew how young people loved to get mad at folks when people called them by their nick names in public.

"Hey Kristy." Hakim and Karina said in unison earning a smirk from Kristy.

"Come on. Lets get on with this meeting" Kristy said.

On the way to the personal Lyon meeting room, Hakim posted the pictures he took of Karina and him on Instagram and Facebook. A couple seconds after he got into the meeting room, his phone started going crazy with inboxes, comments, and likes. He smirked and sat down without looking at his phone. Karina sat beside him and he was tempted to grab her hand and hold it, but decided against it for the sake of time and place.

"So you two, it's time you come out as a couple." Cookie said getting straight to the point.

"Yea. I seen y'all were working on that I the car earlier." Jamal said smiling at the two.

"Well ummm you see what had happened was..." Karina trailed off purposely. She wanted to pet Hakim be the dominant one in their "Relationship".

"What had happened was, she said she couldn't breath, so I was giving her mouth to mouth." Hakim said.

Kristy burst out into laughter at the bullshit lie. She could have come up with something so much better than that. She knew even Karina could have come up with something better than that. She didn't bother commenting though.

"The only reason she couldn't breathe is cause yo tongue was shoved down her throat Hakim." Cookie said rolling her eyes.

"Hahahaha!" Kristy started chuckling loudly.

"Lil girl, this is business not comedy." Cookie said.

Cookie was in no mood. She had PMS and was ready to bleed up a storm in a couple days. Her nipples hurt, she was getting cramps, she was hungry, and she was hot as hell. She had skipped a few months, and her period was for sure late this month too, but it didn't bother her. She had been doing that for a while since she had those affairs with Lucius mean ass.

"I already took a picture of me and Karina kissing and posted it saying "My girl". Hakim said.

"I had planned a while fucking celebration for this shit. You just gon ruin it. Ugh." Cookie groaned angrily.

"Mom, things are more easier the way I did it. No late rehearsals. No extra money spent. Just a click of a button." Hakim said.

"Mhm. I'm going home." Cookie said before walking out.

"Is she always like this?" Karina asked.

"Pretty much." Hakim said before they both got up and started walking out together.

"They won't last a week." Jamal said.

"I think they'll make it." Kristy said.

"Wanna bet?" Jamal said.

"Whatchu got?" Kristy asked.

"$250 says they only last a week." Jamal said.

"I'll hold you to that." Kristy said with a smirk.

"Alright buddy. Lets go. I gotta see this." Jamal said getting up to go be nosy and see what Hakim and Karina were doing.

Kristy and Jamal had become good friends. They were always talking or texting about the latest fashions and life itself. They were like two peas in a pod. He was the brother she never had. She was the sister he longed for, but never had. They were like best friends.
