7: Mateo

Santino's car ride back home was quiet. Well, until someone decided to speak. It was Mateo.

"Signor Ermes?"

"Yes Mateo?"

"Before we reach home and start doing what we do best. May I tell you something about the two colured eyes bella from the restaurant."

At the mention of Charlene, Santino whips his head so fast, it was kind of a funny tight to see. Realising how obvious he must have been to Mateo, he releases a light chuckle.

"Si, Mateo. What is it you have to say?"

"I might have a tiny bit something to do with her appearance at the restaurant tonight." Mateo replies.

"Veramente Mateo. Tell me your joking." [Really]

"No I-"

Mateo stops his words as the car comes to a halt indicating that they have reached their destination. They both head out in silence with a few guards following behind them. Entering the house they immediately head to an elevator. However this is a different, not-so-secret one that has three buttons instead. First level; private club. Second level; private bedrooms. Third level; torturing basement.

They go in hitting the third button and the elevator immediately heading down. As it stops the door opens into the basement- now, Santino was a very clean man. Unlike most mafias, the Godfather's basement did not always smell like dead bodies okay. He made sure every mess was cleaned.

They stopped in front of room nine. Mateo was the one to open the door and step aside for Santino to enter first. Immediately after entering, the two men put on black surgical gloves, and welding masks that covered their whole faces. Just so the mess avoids their faces and hands.

"Buon giorno sunshine." [Good morning] Santino says, waking up the beaten up man strapped down to a chair.

"Please.... Please Mr. Ermes. It was not me sir, I swear"...
