She laughed pretending to be okay, but I had learnt to read body language, certain traits that were a giveaway for when a person was lying. Yup she was definitely lying, but why?

"Guys chill will you, remember I stayed over at Aunt Safina's house, well me and Ruksana were coming back from watching a movie and I tripped, and fell onto a broken bottle, it was dark and I didn't see it. I passed out, woke up at hospital with this horrible scar," she said, forcing humour into her tone. anlthough everyone else believed her little act, I wasn't fooled. But this wasn't the time or place to have this conversation. She looked at me and froze, she knew that I had caught onto her lie and I was going to find out what happened to her. "Are you sure that's what happened?" asked Lyba, biting her lip as she looked from Adnan to Zubaida, Zubaida nodded and smiled at her, but the flash of pain in her eyes which eveyone missed again told a different story. "Okay if you say so, I'm going down to make some breakfast, what do you want?" she asked, Zubaida's shoulders reaxed and she smiled properly then. It was creepy, I hadn't know her for long and yet I seemed to know her more than everyone else.

"Um can I get 2 hashbrown's in a bap with a poached egg on top please" she told Lyba as she rushed into her room, Lyba nodded and made her way down. "Dude your sister is disgusting" I said shuddering, who put eggs and hashbrowns together in a bap. Gross! Adnan laughed and walked towards his room but I had a feeling something was on his mins, he seemed distracted. The quietness was suddenly transformed as loud music was blasted from ZUbaida's door. I walked quietly to her door, it was slightly open and I peeked inside. I felt like a child, ad I was 26 for crying out loud! She was in a vest top and 3 quarter shorts, her hair was piled up into a messy bun and her feet were bare, I gulped, oh boy did she have a figure!
