My Grove Of Thorns

I've had many people here before
But none quite like you.
As you walked through my grove of thorns,
You made flowers bloom,
As you sat in my boat and traveled across this deep river,
You had no fear on your face,
As you heard me sing,
You sang along, without hesitation.

I've had royalty and surfs,
The magical and the mundane,
The mysterious and the predictable,
Yet you, some how, are different than them all.
A fierce fire glows in your eyes,
A determination that will last life times,
A kindness that sparks all around you,
A light deep within your smile,
No single doubt.

Many have traveled with me,
Through this path and many others,
None quite like you,
No one ever the same.
I wonder if I'll see your soul again,
Have you walk the path with me,
And see the flowers bloom,
In my grove of thorns.
