From the inside of the home Gabi's aunt Joan, yells "who is it", there's no response , this makes everyone quiet and anxious and since Terrel is the only man inside the house he answers the door while telling Gabi and her family to go upstairs. Once everyone is gone Terrel looks through the peep hole and sees no one, he's now becoming a little weirded out but still opens the door gripping his gun, he knows Gabi wouldn't have been ok with him bringing it but now he's glad he did, Gabi is watching from the top of the stairs just to make sure he's ok even though her mother dosent think that it's safe. When he steps out the door Gabi hears a small rustling noise and then to her surprise Maxx runs the door after breaking a bottle over Terrel's head. He instantly sees Gabi and runs up the stairs, she tries to run but he's faster than her, he pulls her back sending her flying down the stairs, causing her the worst pain of her life. Her mother's first instinct is to try and fight him off and behind her is two of her sisters, they all yell at Alex to hide but she doesn't listen instead she rushes down the stairs, to check on her sister and then realizes that Gabi is bleeding really bad from her vagina, she doesn't know what's happening but she rushes to see if Terrel is ok, when she gets there he's laying unconscious on the ground. She's about to run to a neighbors house but then she noticed Terrel's gun, she picks it up, runs back in the house, and shoots Maxx in the back, for a second her mother and aunts are frozen in shock, they just look at Alex like she didn't just potentially save their lives. Mrs.Wilson quickly shakes off the feeling, and begins to rush down the stairs. She sees the exact same thing that Alex saw but is extremely frightened instead of confused, she knows that during a pregnancy vaginal bleeding is a symptom of a miscarriage, the thought sits on her mind for a second before a voice snaps her out of her thoughts, it's Terrel yelling to everyone out of the house. Even giving instructions on what to do Terrel is confused his self as to where his gun is, then he sees the mother of his child laying on the floor with blood surrounding her body, his thoughts instantly tell him that Maxx shot her. Just then a flash of lights and a siren alarm everyone inside. Everyone is in a panic when an officer enters the home and sees a crime scene.
Officer: What the hell happened here?!
Mrs.Agnes: Officer please let me explain everything it was all in self defense no one has done anything wrong except for the one who's dead.
The officer hadn't even realized that there was more than one person who could be dead he only sees Gabi's body laying on the floor.
Officer: So I assume she's the one who's dead? (He says pointing at Gabriella)
Mrs.Agnes: I hope not that's my daughter, and I love her to death, and while we are on that note can you please get an ambulance here.
What she doesn't know is that there is already an ambulance outside, they were there on stand by in case someone was hurt, they immediately rush inside loading her seemingly lifeless body onto a stretcher, the EMT's rush her outside and load her into the van, her mother tried to follow but is blocked at the door, because she's a possible suspect to the crime. She pleads and pleads with the officer but nothing is making him budge. After a full team of officers arrive at the house, a further investigation is done, they find Maxx's body, the gun used to murder him, and now they're trying to find out who did it. The officers have already heard the full story multiple times the only difference in each persons point of view was that someone different shot him. Meanwhile Gabi is laying in a hospital bed, alone she feels empty, but also worried. No one will tell her what really happened after she went unconscious. She's not even aware of the fact that she may have lost her baby, her thoughts are running wild and she doesn't know what to do, so instead of trying to figure things out on her own she decides to pray. Praying has never failed her and she believes it never will, with the little energy she has left she gets out of the hospital bed and gets on her knees, she prays and asks the lord to guide her through the situation, to let her know whats going on etcetera.
Back at the house everyone has agreed to let Terrel take the blame since it is his gun and since he was hit in the head with a bottle then it would be considered self defense. After further looking into it no one was charged or arrested, but they all had to appear in court in two weeks. After all the officers are gone, everyone leaves the house to go see Gabi in the hospital. Upon arrival to the hospital, everyone over 18 is asked for an ID. After all identification cards have been checked, they all mad it to her room but are stopped at the door because of COVID, they are told only one more person is allowed in the room, and since Terrel has a possibly still has a child on the way with her he goes in first, when he enters he sees someone he didn't expect, and what happened next will leave you shocked.
