Chapter 6 ( Drug Addiction)

When Terrel enters the room he sees her father, his eyes were red like he'd been crying, but as soon as he laid eyes on Terrel he stood tall and looked at him with anger in his eyes. Terrel tried to extend a hand and say hello but Mr.Wilson wasn't going, this left Terrel confused because he'd only been good to his daughter, matter of fact he was in love with his daughter and he knew she felt the same so it was hard for him to figure out what was going on, until her father opened his mouth and said-

Mr.Wilson: You know what you did.

Terrel stand there confused for a second until it hits him, Mr.Wilson has a sister that's much younger than him about 28 years younger than him to be exact, and Terrel used to be in a relationship with her.

Terrel: Oh fuck! Mr.Wilson, this was complete mistake I didn't even know, she's never told me anything about your side of the family at all she's only showed me a few pictures of you, and I will admit that you looked a little familiar but I never really recognized you.

Gabi: What are you guys talking about?

Terrel: Baby I can explain I-

Mr.Wilson: Shut up boy. Gabriella this negro used to date my sister.

Gabi: Wait that's gross what the hell.

Mr.Wilson: No, not that one the one that's close in age to you, and the reason I have a problem with that is because, he cheated on her and mentally abused her, he left her broken and I don't want the same thing to happen to you.

Gabi looks at Terrel with desperate eyes hoping that he will deny everything they just heard, but instead he just stares at the ground not saying a word.

Mr.Wilson noticed the tension in the room and what he's says only makes it worse.

Mr.Wilson: Gabi you should leave him, I really don't want the same thing to happen to you at all.

Gabi: Dad listen, I get what you're saying but you never said any of that when I was with Maxx and he was mentally abusing me and literally cheating on the daily. Plus I've fallen in love with this man and he treats me well, people change and I believe he's on of them.

Mr.Wilson: Do you really wanna take a chance with a criminal, at this point you playing with your life, I mean-

Terrel: Listen Mr. Wilson with all do respect but I'm not gonna sit here and let you talk about me like I'm a bad person, I was going through some things, my mother was still heavy on my mind and I had a lot going on, and what are you talking about she's playing with her life like I'm gonna hurt her, I love that woman to death honestly, she's helped me get through so much more than she knows, and now we're gonna have a baby, she's not gonna leave me and I'm damn sure not leaving her.

Mr.Wilson just stands there in shock, he had no idea his daughter was pregnant.

Mr.Wilson: Gabriella you're pregnant?

Gabi: Umm yeah, I was gonna tell you but I was scared of your reaction.

Terrel: Well baby I have to tell you something, when he threw you down the stairs and you went unconscious you had really bad vaginal bleeding, which means you could've lost our baby. They didn't want to tell you because they thought it would be better to hear from someone who knows and cares for you.

Gabriella takes a minute to register all of this, she had idea that she might've lost her baby, it gives her a twisted feeling in her stomach, almost like a slug to the chest, she wasn't happy about the pregnancy at first but with all that had happened after she found out she started to become excited. She had even started thinking about the days that she would have in her late pregnancy, how big her baby bump would grow, the late nights where she wouldn't be able to sleep, but being ok with it because she had the thought of her child coming on her mind. Now all of that could be taken away from her and she didn't know how to react. But a doctor who entered the room snapped her out of her thoughts.
