Chapter 17

Ash Pov:
My gaze moved towards the door of the car. Apparently, everyone was curious to see who is rich enough to arrive school in Roll's Royce!! Soon enough door opened and stepped a boy who seems of our age. Hmm...I've seen him somewhere!

I was just wondering about who this person is and where had I seen him, when from corner of my eye I saw Gary coming towards this boy!
"Hey! Long time no see!" Gary said giving a quick hug to this boy!

"Hii Gary!" He greeted with a smile and from corner of my eye I can see girls oggling at him and wonders of wonders Serena was also looking at him with interest! I overcome my urge to grin! I think my prayer is accepted! Only if this boy becomes permanent student of Pokehigh! My inner voice pointed out! Ugh! Why always this inner voice of mine have to make me notice such things which are better ignored! Because to make you live in reality! Yeah! Yeah! Whatever. I controlled my urge to roll my eyes.

"Now, let's meet grandpa and get the work done! Shall we?" Gary said throwing a side wink at me!? The boy nodded and they both walked past everyone and towards Professor Oak's office! What was that wink for!? Is something up?

"Yes! Something is indeed up!" Leaf suddenly came behind me and said grinning! Woah, how does she know what I was thinking!
"It's evident from your facial expressions Ash that you are confused!" She said smirking!
"Have you learned mind reading or what!?" I said giving her a look!

"I'm not sure about mind reading but future reading!? Definitely!" She gave me a wink and taking my arm she dragged me where crowd is quite less!
"Now, Now, Leaf! This is no time for playing riddles! Tell me what's going on in the head of you both!" I said glaring at her! I desperately want to know if there's any proceeding in the plan!

"Well Ashh!" She smiled warmly! "Think that our mission is accomplished!"
"Tell me the whole thing which I don't know! Enough with this riddles!" I said first narrowing my eyes and then threw a glare her way! What is it that this couple didn't told me about!?

"See! Our plan was to distract Serena's attention from you right!?" I nodded. "And the only way to do that was to get her attention towards someone popular, heartrob, rich, in short someone who she thinks as equal and compatible for her!" "So.... luckily last night, Professor Oak received a phonecall from another branch of Pokehigh that we are receiving a transfer student from Hoenn region!" She beamed! "I still didn't get this!" I told her.

"Ash, don't you know who is he!?" She asked. I knew I have seen him somewhere, then I thought deeply and...it clicked! My eyes slightly wide and, I whispered, "Red"!
"Yes! Exactly! And....you know what that mean!?" She said grinning!
"You both are genius!" I grinned as well!

Misty Pov:
I saw Gary walking towards Professor Oak's office, and there's also some guy with him? Maybe we got a new student! I shrugged and walked towards my class!
"Good morning class! Today we've a new student!" Ms. Sophia said. Hmm so my first class is with that new guy!
That guy entered and for the first time I really looked at him! He seems familiar!?

"Please introduce yourself!" Ms. Sophia said.
"Good morning everyone! I am Red and I came here from Hoenn region's Pokehigh as a transfer student!" He introduced! Ah Red!! Hmm one of the best battlers! Also, 2 times champion of inter-region Pokemon League!! Great!

"Sit besides Misty! Misty please raise your hand!" Ms. Sophia said and I did! He came and sat behind me. From corner of my eye I saw Ash! Before he could even notice my gaze, I focused my attention towards what our teacher is teaching!

Serena Pov:
What was that!? I completely lost my focus on seeing him! I even didn't noticed when Ash left! I wanted an answer for my yesterday's question! Now what!? I can only ask him at lunch break! How he attracted my attention towards him!? I'm in love with Ash right? So that shouldn't have happened! Well, probably  I am thinking too much about it! It was just maybe that he arrived in Roll's Royce which is not usual for students so that's what attracted my attention not that boy!

And now that I made it certain that Misty don't come near Ash! I can have a peaceful and loving relationship with him now! Surely, Misty won't try to ruin her sisters career in modelling and film industry where my father holds a significant position! I smirked to myself! Don't you think this is wrong! Who spoke!? Oh this inner voice! No I don't think so! I love Ash and there should be no one
besides me to whom he rightfully belongs! First see, you even love him or it was just a mere attraction!?

My eyebrows came together forming a line on my forehead! What do this mean!? I am surely in love with Ash and I wanted to have relationship with him right!? You yourself are confused! Hey! I'm not confused! I am dead sure about this! And I am going to get what I want!
With determined steps, I walked towards my class!

________________________At lunch Break______________________

Ash Pov:
"You are genius!" I said giving Gary a quick hug!
"I know I am!" He said with a proudy smirk!
"So....what now!?" I asked.
"Now-" He was about to say something when I noticed Red talking to Mist which bothered me! No, not that he was talking to Mist bothered me but....the fact that I saw a slight blush on Mist's face!!
My feet on their own accord hastened towards them!

"Hey there!" I greeted!
"Uh, Hi! Hey you are Ash right!?" Red asked! Whoa he knows me!?
"Umm yeah I am! How come you know me!?" I asked.
"Oh c'mon, don't act like no one knows you! You have won Indigo and Johto League 3 times!! It's no joke!" He said.
"Oh, so that's how you know me!" I smiled to him and myself also, I am quite proud of myself!

"Uh Red! It was great talking to you! But I am afraid I have to leave!" Misty said, and it didn't go unnoticed by me that how fast she looked at me and averted her gaze!  And apparently it didn't go unnoticed by Red either! He looked between me and her!

"Are you both couple!?" He suddenly asked!
"Huh, No! No we aren't!" She said almost desperately!
He then looked at me!
"Yeah, yeah we aren't!" I said keeping my tone calm and casual!
He nodded, and she left! "See ya later!" Red said and she smiled back! I felt a feeling of jealousy rising inside me which I quickly ignored! Red is there to help me!

We both walked towards Gary and Leaf!
"Oh so you both already became friends!?" He asked.
"Umm yeah you can say that!" I replied!
"Let's get something to eat!" Leaf said.
"Sure!" Red responded with a smile.

We were just eating when, "I don't know but I think I like her!" Red said.
And our heads shot up to look at him!
"Who are you talking about!?" I asked trying to hide my desperation in my tone! I am not having a good feeling about this!!

So sorry readers! I know I'm 2 month late! If possible please forgive me, but every month my school is scheduling exams for us! What can I do!? That's why I was not getting any time to write.
