Chapter 18

Ash Pov:
"Why, Misty ofcourse! I was talking to her only before Ash came, was I not!?" He shrugged! Shrugged!!? I knew it! Ugh!!
"Don't you dare!" I said between griiting teeth, glaring at him and my palms clenching into fists!
"Huh? But you said you both aren't couple!" He said, surprised at my reaction! I was about to say something when we heard 'Aaaah' sound, enough to divert my attention from Red!

"This is all your fault idiot!" Leaf shouted at Gary! And then I noticed Gary, rubbing his shin!
"Hey! What did I do?" Gary asked, unable to understand the reason for that kick!
"What did you do? 'You' are asking me what did you do!?" Leaf yelled at him glaring!

"When I asked you whether you explained the whole thing to Red or not you said you took cared of it!!" She yelled making her voice louder at the last words!
"Uh, um, well..." Gary tried to find something to say in his defense but failed miserably! And at the same time my kick landed on his shoes!

"Ouch! Hey!" Gary drew his hand to rub his now injured toe!
"This. is. unforgivable!" I threw a glare at him!
"Guys!? Would anyone be so kind to tell me what's going on!?" Red waved at us to get our attention towards him!
"Um yess! We need to tell him the whole thing!" Gary said desperately, looking at Red thankfully as Red is some angel who saved him from torture of 2 angry beasts!

"So....?" Red said looking expectantly at me and Leaf to take back our seats! For now, me and Leaf decided to let go by landing our either feet at his shoes, they landed with quite a force was purely coincidental! With a satisfied look plastered on our face we took our seats taking in the content feeling of punishing the guilty! Red shook his head at us! As Leaf took her seat, Gary shifted a little away from her!

"Hm so now tell me what is important for me to know!?" Red said.
"I and Mist were together in a relationship! We-" "Were!? That means you already broke up! So you shouldn't have a problem about some guy liking Misty!" He interrupted rolling his eyes!
"Will you listen to me!?" I slightly yelled!
"Sure but please start from when and where you first met her!'' He said! What!? Is this some movie or love story going on for him!?
But then I started with the beginning of how we met, I'll also love to remember that days!

___________________________After 15 mins____________________________

"Woah! You 2 are so close!" Red exclaimed and I smiled, "We are!"
"Then..... some crazy things got into my mind and I broke up!" I said with guilt evident on my face.

"Huh? So you were the one who broke up! Tell me what did you  said to her at the time of break up!" He said. Huh! E-exact w-words of that time are very difficult to utter! That were the most bitter words I can ever say to her! I didn't wanted to rewind that scene but eventually told him the exact words! Drowning in even more guilt and anger upon myself with each and every word word came out from my mouth!

That Break up thing just ended and someone approached us!
"Red?" Professor Alex said.
"Yes Professor?" Red asked.
"Professor Oak want to meet you. So please be there before the lunch break is over." He informed.
"Something special?" Red asked.

"Nah, just want to pester you with some information of this place and pokemons!" He said in dismissal way!
"Umm Okay." Red said and stand to leave, he started walking towards the office when he turned, "You don't deserve her Ash! Just because you want her back and want her to forgive you doesn't mean you have the right to be with her again!" He said in serious tone with grim expression on his face and left!

We all stared at him open-mouthed! What the-! This is not the case! He don't know the complete thing! Ugh! I thought after arrival of Red, things will simplify but...they are now even more complicated!

Misty Pov:
I was returning from Professor Oak's office as he wanted to tell me his new research on water pokemons, that was quite interesting! He knows so much about pokemons!

"Hii!" Someone greeted, when I looked sideways it was Red!
"Hii!" I greeted with a smile!
''So Professor Oak had something for you also!" He said with a chuckle!
"Yeah, it was a new research of his!" I replied casually but... there's something which I saw, It could be just my imagination but... there was something in his eyes that didn't seems casual!

"I think you should go inside now! Professor Oak must be waiting for you! Bye!" I said and turned to leave when I saw someone's spinarack near to my feet! I jumped, frightened and lost my balance! I was about to break my nose when Red caught me!

"Are you okay?" He asked, his hands holding my elbows! He looked at me with concern as it really matters for him!
"Umm yeah! Yeah I'm alright!" I said, almost hurriedly, getting out of his hold! It was uncomfortable! If it would've been Ash then you could've never want to get away from him! I sadly smiled! True! But....I can't now!

"Bye! And thanks for the help!" Before he could say anything I left!
Though I heard something like, "Anytime and anything for you!" I gulped!

Serena Pov:
I was on my way to class when I saw Red holding Misty by her elbows as steadying her!! I felt something inside me! Something between anger and disappointment! It's called jealousy! Nah! It can't be!

But seriously!? This girl now took heart of Red also!? I thought he would be smarter enough to not fall for her tricks! It's good isn't it? Why the heck it would be good!? See! You already made sure that Misty wouldn't come near Ash, but Ash still want her back in his life!But when he will see that Misty is with another boy then he'll forget her and again you both will be together!

My inner voice explained. Umm yeah but...it doesn't seem right! You never cared for right or wrong! Umm yeah but...why Red only! I mean there could be another boy right? Do you want Red for yourself!? My conscience asked and..was that smirky tone I heard!

See! You are blushing! It was then when I noticed my cheeks turned into colour of crimson red! Uh! T-That's not blush! It's just that I'm feeling cold! I did knew about nose being red due to cold but, do people get red cheeks on feeling cold these days? No! It's just me! My cheeks get red instead of nose!

I think after that my conscience decided to give me some solitude! But still...I couldn't stop thinking about Red holding Misty! Ugh! It irritates me so much! But why the heck it affects me this much!?

____________________________At Departure___________________________

Ash Pov:
I tried to find Red! Where is he!? I need to clarify things to him! He  only knows half truth which is not good! Half truth is more dangerous than a lie!

I saw him talking with Mist!! My Mist! Ugh! I hastely walked towards them when someone pulled me by my arm!
"Ash! I have something to tell you!"

Hello Guys! Not quite late update I think! Well well what now!? Do you think Red will fall out of his crush for Misty? And will it be easy for Ash to clarify Red about all that?

Oh! And more importantly who this person is and what is it that this person wants to tell Ash! Is some new twist awaiting in next chapter? Stay tuned!

Well, it was about to be posted tomorrow but I decided to post it today as a gift from my side to a good friend of mine because he is leaving tomorrow to some place far away from home and we'll not be able to be in contact for months, so as he likes the story very much, I thought it would be best gift I could give him! :)
