a/n: based on a true story that happened in my economics class. enjoy this filler chapter while i finish the other chapters. i swear im not dead im just lazy. howdy yall, hope yall are doing well. we cut onions in my culinary arts class and it hit me hard, my eyes burned so bad i couldn't even see wtf i was doing, my partner had to guide me around the kitchen. my eyes still hurt. pretty sure i embarrassed myself in front of the cute guy in my class cause he kept staring at me as i cried.

'I regret everything.'

That was what Levi was thinking as he sat at the large desk in front of the classroom. He was asked to substitute for Mr. Gin's economics class as he was unable to come in that day, Apparently he had gotten food poisoning from eating at some restaurant called the "Crusty Crab" and was in the hospital. Anyways Levi reluctantly agreed to babysit his students. Honestly fed up with everything, Levi just had the classes work on some worksheet they were already doing the day before. He didn't bother to actually read the lesson plans.Thankfully, his suffering was almost over because it was finally sixth period.

Ymir leaned over to the desk on her right. "Babe, where did you find the answer to question twelve?"

"It's on page sixty." Historia whispered back.

"Thanks Hisu."

"No prob."

"Marry me once this class is over."

"Shhhhhh! No talking!" Levi grumpily looked up from the book he was reading.

Ymir turned back around. "Fucking shorty." she scowled.

Sasha sneakily ate a donut, hiding behind the giant textbook that she had propped up. Crumbs and greasy fingerprints littered her worksheet.

"Ayo, Sash." Connie tapped on her shoulder from the seat behind her. She turned around to face him.

"Wha'?"

"Guess what page the answer for number fourteen is on."

"Wha' page?"

Connie spun his textbook around to face her and pointed to the right hand corner of the second page and snickered. "Sixty-nine."

Sasha began to laugh along with him. Mr. Ackerman snapped the book closed and stood up quickly, almost knocking over the chair he sat in. He furrowed his eyes and aggressively pointed at them, "Stop making noise or I will make you two stay after school and clean this classroom!"

They muttered their apologies and turned back around to face the front.

All was quiet for like 5 minutes until the door to the classroom slammed open with a large boom. Everyone snapped up to see who it was.

"LEEEEEVVVVVIIIIIIII!!!!"

Professor Hange waltzed in and ran to where Mr. Ackerman was sitting.

"Tch. What is it four eyes?" he grumbled as he sipped his tea, holding onto the cup with some strange hand position. Connie, Sasha, and pretty much everyone else in their friend group had tried to recreate the way Levi drank his tea, but all attempts ended with them spilling whatever was in their cups everywhere. Only Levi possessed the power to hold his cup like that.

"I just wanted to see what my best friend was doing!"

"We aren't friends."

"Of course we are!" They pushed themselves up to sit on the desk, knocking over a stack of paper and books. "Oops."

Levi sighed in frustration, but at this point he was too tired to even care so he just went back to sipping his tea while Hange ranted about some new study they read.
