"hoonie, close your eyes and count from one to ten."
A pair of hands around Sunghoon's waist, whispering to him.
"no, i won't.. what are you guys trying to do.."
"you sure you'll be able to witness the scene?"
Confused, he then heard a group of cries as the house was slowly painted in red. Three familiar faces now seen as horrifying creatures with sinister smiles of satisfaction. The only free human watching from afar.
"see those?"
Bodies of the unknown slowly turning pale. The others collecting that red liquid flowing down their skin.
"I won't do anything that harsh to you
althought I feel a bit hungry at the moment"
Sunghoon could feel the other's cold breathe right above his neck. His fangs already sunked in and a quiet scream escaping.
His fingers were shaking and his legs were doing it's best to maintain balance. But the arms were still wrapped around him supporting his body.
"you may rest now hoon, find somewhere to lean on"
He let go of the younger who immediately covered the mark thinking it would attract the others. The boy slumped on a nearby couch following Jaeyun's order.
"The yearly deed is now done Jaeyun"
"Let's divide it among us and donate some to our kind"
Sunoo nodded then proceeds to place the packets somewhere for safekeeping. Both Ni-ki and Jungwon wiped off the stains on their body and clothing. And Jake then helped with the house starting with executing the corpses around the place. Just with a snap, they all disappeared with no ashes to remain.
"oh sunghoon hyung, you're bleeding"
"yeah no shit"
Jungwon handed some tissues to the older, noticing his orbs that were still in fear. Feeling his teeth, he realized that he's still in the vampiric form.
"right, you found out about me too.. but don't get me wrong, I'm just a halfblood"
Hearing Sunghoon sighing, he left him to give some alone time for him. All secrets were revealed to him just by one act; or maybe not all..
"oh fvck heeseung is still here.."
Sunoo blurted out grabbing the eldest's attention. He chuckled quietly then went towards him and the others.
"yeah and I witnessed everything, disgusting."
And Sunghoon is still deep in his thoughts.
"why do they look scared? shouldn't they be the one with power.."
"Heeseung hyung please don't report this event, I swear this is just our tradition"
Jungwon managed to say it in one breath. The reason they feared him? They know what he is and what he's done.
"hmm, I'm not sure with that, let's ask the other human shall we?"
"Sunghoon hyung, please.."
"..Leave them be, we don't even know who the the people were and they might deserve it after all"
"Obvious answer. Oh well, I'll spare you guys for now, but I'm always watching"
Heeseung left the place, peacefully walking back to his place. The young vampire sighed in relief and thought of calling it a day.
"I'll go now, bring me some type AB once you've sorted it all!"
"noted Jungwon, see ya!"
Now it's just them four. Ni-ki already went up to rest and Sunoo following.
