About a month has passed after that night and they seem to be on better terms. Jake would still feed on Sunghoon once in a while if he's pissed with him or when he wants to. The younger is trying to adapt to it but so far, it still hurts.
He's not yet over what happened at the party. It terrifies him meeting with his other friends. But Jungwon was an exception.
About Heeseung, they both haven't come in contact with each other since and he wouldn't dare to face him. What if he tries to get Sunghoon back..
"Jake! I'm going out again!"
"Alright, stay safe hoonie"
The older already gave him his permissions to go out freely. He gained his trust but was it the same the other way around? If he still fear a creature like him, why won't he take the chance to run away?
Moving on, he decided to have a walk towards the store as he needs some food just for himself. He doesn't want his housemate to steal his snacks again.
He went inside the building with the cold breeze greeting him. The soft music playing in the background as he searched for something to buy. After that, he paid for his snacks then left wandering around the streets.
Sunghoon didn't want to go home yet. It just feels to early. So he walked around the park to satisfy his well-being for today.
The boy then found some ruins in a middle of what seems like a forest. He really went this far into finding something natural looking. He went near them with curiosity controlling him. A gush of wind passing by him.
"Code: VMP. I repeat, Code: VMP."
Sunghoon turned around but there was nobody. Just him, the demolished buildings, and nature.
"NOW!!"
"huh─"
The boy screamed in pain as he felt something suffocating him. As if there were silver chains around him. They pulled them tighter while Sunghoon was still yelling for help.
He fell to the ground trying to keep his eyes open, his vision getting blurry. A group of men surrounding him who looked like terrorists in the city.
"What do we have here.."
They grabbed him to put some kind of cloth around the boy making it hard to breathe. Only muffled noises were to let out
"Take him back to the building"
Before they could bring him with them, smoke emerged from the place. Everyone struggled to see while coughing as it was slowly disappearing. Once it did, the boy was gone.
Sunghoon felt as if someone was holding him no, carrying him and running away. The man took of the cloth making the boy try to catch his breath.
