My book is inspired by The Originals, with slight bits of The Vampire Diaries. Watching both shows will probably be the best in order to understand the story.
All rights go to the creator Julie Plec and both her shows (The Originals/The Vampire Diaries). I own nothing but the characters that have come from my own imagination.
Original Characters do not belong to me.

After The Storm Kali Uchis ( Featuring Tyler The Creator)
Did you ever wonder?
Yeah, do you ever wonder what he
Might be going' through on his own and
The demons that he's facing alone?
I hate that sometimes I can't go home and
It just ain't the same on the phone, no
But everybody's gotta go on, don't they?

Blood has never been an issue for me.
Seeing it, touching it, tasting it. The pure thought of the red liquid typically made most people squeamish or nauseated, but once I became a vampire, the sight was actually enjoyable.
Ringing out the wet hand towel in my hands, I watched as the tub of water turned into a reddish hue, making my stomach turn.
But today was... different.
I pushed the cloth roughly along my face, trying to get as much blood off as I could before the painful memories surfaced through again. Shutting my eyes, I attempted to block out the images of Monique continuously stabbing me, great amounts of blood draining out of my body onto the floor under me.
I had... never been tortured before in my life.
At least not physically.
Of course I knew vampires could feel pain; that was the beauty of us healing our wounds so miraculously, so that the pain wouldn't last as long. But this... it was excruciating.
The knife digging into your gut, tearing away at your body's skin tissue and nerves while you screamed in pain for your life. However, the worst part was that you couldn't do anything about it.
