Chapter 1

"milo stop" i giggled playfully pushing him away. You see miles and i have been together since childhood, I've always stayed at there's ever since my parent's accident. He helped me get over it by being there no matter what, i missed my parents from time to time but miles would be there, hugging and comforting me.

He looked at me and smiled, slowly attaching our lips together. I kissed back putting my hands behind his neck deepening the kiss.

"Children the new nanny is here" mrs.grose shouted making me pull away, breaking the kiss.He groaned placing his head down my neck, i chuckled playfully rolling my eyes.

"can we just stay here you know meeting them is just a fucking waste of time" he cursed, i shook my head and stood up "c'mon milo atleast be nice to her that's the only thing you have to do" he sighed standing up and grabbing my hands.We head out the room and walked down the empty hall and into the living room.

"y/n, miles you're here" flora screamed, running towards us and latching onto my leg.

"Hey flor"i beamed softly pinching her cheeks earning a giggle from the curley haired girl "it took you so both so long going downnn"she pouted draging the n as she spoke, I laughed at her words and held her on my arms, carrying her across the room.

Closely walking near the couch a figure of a girl sitting down catches my sight. "And who are you? Mrs grose didn't tell us there was a new maid"i said setting flora down and crossing my arm."Oh i am maria the nannies uhm daughter" she answered looking down, i simply nodded and cleared my throat.

"well i am y/n" i smiled grabbing miles's hand and putting him infront of me"andd this is miles". She slowly looked up making eye contact with miles, she instantly froze eyeing him up and down. I mentally rolled my eyes and grip miles' hand tighter. Great another fucking girl to take care of, i said to myself staring back at the girl.

"well i ah uhm maria"she stuttered fumbling with her words still looking at miles.

He grabed my waist, leaning his face to my side, his hot breath intoxicating my skin. "Let's just leave"he whispered tightening his grip on my waist. "Sorry he's not use to talking to people" i explained glaring back at miles."Miles knock it off" i whispered making him shrug his arms and rested his head on my shoulder.

I looked back down seeing the girl quietly fiddling with her dress,"well uhm do you want a tour around the manor?" I asked breaking the akward silence, "oh okay" was all she said and stood up waiting for me to lead the way.

"Great this will be so much fun" i beamed, slowly letting go of miles' grasp, he breath out heavily,rolling his eyes, i shook my head and grabbed maria's hand dragging her to the other direction, leaving miles all alone. I could feel miles staring daggers but just shrugged it off and walked away with maria.

Both girs walked down the empty halls, each corner filled with dust and cobwebs. "These are the guest room but we barely use them" y/n said showing all the rooms, all having bland but elegant interiors and furnitures that have been covered in white silk sheets."Are you and miles dating or something?" the other interrupted making her furrow her brows.

"I mean miles and i are practically married since childhood" she scoffed, attaching her hands to her hips.

"well anyways, this is where the tour ends",y/n spoke breaking the deafening silence that surrounded them. She was about to walk away when she turned back, looking at the girl still steadily standing there.

"Do you like miles?" She questioned slowly walking back to her, "wha-i mea-i am just not use around boys"the other defended, making y/n leave out a sigh, "so you're telling me you don't get boys back at your home"she stared blankly pretending not to know anything leaving maria in a shock."what no that's not it, it's just that- nevermind"she stopped,lowering her head "i just don't want to ruin a relationship that's all so I'll just keep away" maria continued, slowly walking pass y/n.
