Chapter 6

[𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑎]

"why did you do this to me maria?" i saw y/n as she hanged her self in the tree. "i didn't do it" i yelled, i tried to stop her but everything was too late. I saw a man standing near her and ran towards me. I was about to run but he strangled me, i tired to fight back but i couldn't breath. I screamed at him as he strangled me to death.

I gasped and sat up, i felt my neck checking for any sign of choking. I sighed in relief, and laid back. How did i get here?. I sat back up and looked around, this is my room but how'd i get here? Did miles bring me back? I smiled and walked to the vanity. Maybe when he found out that y/n died her realized i am pretty. I brushed my hair smiling widely at myself as the thought of me and miles together made my heart flutter.

I walked out of the room and into the dining table. I stopped as i saw y/n eating besides flora. "isn't she dea-d?" i mumbled and sat next to miles. She and miles aren't sitting together so maybe we still have a chance. I ate my food happily as i planned me and miles's future. I looked over at him and saw him eyeing y/n, i furrowed my eyebrow and rolled my eyes." maria can you and y/n help me later cook cupcakes" mom asked, i hesitated but the thought of miles trying my cupcake made me rethink the idea.

"sure mom" i answered.

"okay I'll help" y/n said.

Mom nodded and grabbed her plate and walked into the kitchen. I also finished my food and bought it to the sink and y/n followed behind. "i am really sorry maria you can have miles me and him are just not working anymore" she said, i felt my heart getting excited by the minute. "really?" i asked excitedly.

"yeah" she reassured.

I nodded and she left the kitchen, my smile was visible. Maybe seeing her die in my sleep was a good sign. I finished cleaning the plate and happily went it to the living room.

"what are you smiling about?" my mom teased.

I playfully rolled my eyes "oh nothing just excited to make cupcakes" i exclaimed.

"well before the cupcakes help me tutor flora she's been wanting for you to join us"

I nodded and walked towards flora. "hey excited for your lesson later, spoiler I'll be there"

She gasped "really?" i nodded and she smiled happily "that's great ill go get ready" she sat up and ran off to get ready. Today is just perfect.

I saw maria smiling happily the whole time. I grinned and wondered off. As i was walking around the manor i heard loud drums, i laughed he must be really pissed today. I continued walking and found myself looking at the mirror in front of me. "you look exactly like your mother". I saw quint on the side of the mirror, "obviously i am her daughter". "is the plan doing good?" he asked, i nodded "yeah the plan is doing good" i answered.

"why don't you...."he whispered, a smile appeared on my face as quint told me his plans." that would be a good idea".

I walked towards the living room as i saw flora, kate and maria. "hey guys can i help?" i asked. Flora looked up and ran towards me "of course you can y/n" i held her hand led her to the couch. "you can continue I'll just watch you" she nodded and stared to do her lesson. I sat near maria "what cupcake should we bake?" i whispered. "i don't know yet but the simpler the better" she exclaimed.

"i was hoping we could do chocolate chip" i suggested.

"why chocolate chip?"

"well it's mile's favorite"

Her face lit up as i mentioned him.
"yeah chocolate chip is nice"

After hours of lesson it was finally finished. "can we bake cupcakes now?" flora asked. "sure why not" katw got up and grabbed the papers "you three should go firs I'll just clean this up" she added, we all nodded and walked into the kitchen. "so what should we be making" flora asked. "we will be making...chocolate chip" maria said, flora furrowed her eyebrows "there's something weird about this flavor but i can't remember" she shrugged it off and helper us get the ingredients. "okay ladies let's do this" kate arrived and helped Maria whisked the frosting.

We then finished baking, frosting im our faces and clothes, flora giggled "this is much fun".

"we should do this more often" i suggested.

The oven dinged as we talk about hanging out. "I'll call the others to taste our cupcakes" kate said.

Miles and mrs.grose walked inside the kitchen. Maria grabbed a cupcake and gave it to miles. He looked at me but i looked away, "what's wrong with you and miles?" flora asked as she ate one of the cupcakes. I lightly squeezed her "it's nothing, just a small fight". She munched on her cupcake "but you never fight, you and him are always together". I chuckled "were not always together". "well we shouldn't talk about this let's have fun" i added. I grabbed one of the cupcake,and ate.I started to get itchy,my chest tightening, i stared to cough and my eyes and nose were watery. Miles looked at me and held my arm. "are you alright?" he asked, i gripped his arm "g-grab my EpiPen" i said in between coughs,he nodded and walked over the cabinet, mrs.grose, Kate and flora walked to me. "she's having an allergic reaction" flora yelled, "but what could she be allergic of?" maria muttered, miles shoved Maria and ran to me, he gave me my epipen, i then injected myself with it.

I can finally breath and some of the rashe were going away. Miles guided me to sit on the couch while flora handed me a glass of water. I thanked her and drank the water. "so what are you allergic of?"Kate asked concerned, "she's allergic to chocolate chip" miles explained. Flora then walked towards us "but the cupcake was chocolate chip..". Miles eyes widened, "who the hell would suggest chocolate chip?" he yelled. "but y/n was the one who suggested it" maria mumbled.
