Chapter 13

After searching for him for minutes,i finally found him in flora's room.They we're both playing,i coughed catching their attention "miles can we talk"he nodded and walked out of her room.

"What's up?"he said in a calm voice.

"well i just want to know why you talked to quint with out my permission"i rant.

He just laughed "i did that so you wouldn't fuck up because of him".

I crossed my arms and scoffed "you really think i'd believe that?".

"fine if you don't believe me it's okay"he was about to leave when i stopped him.My head was down feeling embarrassed "thank you"i mumbled,a smile appear on my face as he hugged my closer to him,i accepted the hug,feeling his arms wrapped around my waist.

"Miles can we play now"flora pouted,her arms on her waist.

I pulled away from the hug,i could feel my face heating up from blushing,miles laughed while he bend down "okay flor we can play now"her face lit up as miles said those word,she then grabbed him by the arm and lead him to her room,"see you later y/n/n"he said and left with flora.

I smiled and walked over the living room,"ah y/n you're here i was about to talk to you"mrs.grose said and approached me.

"what is it?"i asked while looking at her.

"Well i wanted to talk about kate and maria"she said and sat at the chair.

"What about them?"i asked and sat infront of her.

"Miles told them their fired and i was thinking we should get a new nanny"mrs.grose suggested.

I raised my eyebrow and crossed my leg,"well you should talk to miles about this you know i am not interested in the nanny bullshit".

She sighed,"i know miles would agree i just think that you wouldn't"she admitted.

I widend my eyes in confusion,"what the hell does that mean?".

"Well every time there's a girl you're age you would flip out and i don't know".

I scoffed,"like hell i am,they all like miles because of his looks nothing else,and we both grew up together we're fucking destined to be together"i sat up and was ready to walk away.

"You weren't the first girl miles had like"mrs.grose said.

I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at her,"what do you mean?".

"Well you see there's this girl that was first before you and both of them liked each other but she had to move so they never saw each other for years".

My eyes widend in suprise,"who is this girl what's her name"i asked with trembling hands,anticipation flow through my body as mrs.grose talked.

"Her name is lilith,they we're gone as you guys moved in their original house".

My vision getting blury as tears started to form on my eyes,"oh-okay"my voice began to crack.

"Are you okay y/n?"mrs.grose asked.

I nodded my head and sat up,"i think i need to rest for a bit"i walked away ignoring what she said.I ran faster to my room,avoiding miles at all cost,"y/n there you are",a voice said behind me,i knew from the start that it was miles so i continued walking towards my room.

"Y/n wait up"i heard faint footsteps coming closer,i finally got in my room,i quickly closed the door,my body slid down as tears escaped my eyes.The room was quite the only thing you could hear was my sobs,"y/n are you alright?"miles banged the door,i didn't answer and just sat there.

After sitting there i thought that i need time for myself,i sat up and grabbed a bag under my bed,i took some clothes and money.After getting everything i need,i opened the window and climbed down,i paused and looked back,"i'll be gone for a while"i mumbled to myself and head off.Little did i know someone saw me.

I walked out of the gate anf wandered through the town not knowing where to go,god maybe i should go back to my old house,i hugged myself as the weather began to cool.I walked down the street and stopped infront of my house,when my parents died they gave me the house but i was always at miles that i forgot to take care of it but luckily i always hired someone to clean it. I opend the gate,it made a creaky sound as it was old and rusty.I looked around and everything was right there when i left it.

I smiled as my old memory replayed in my head,i got up the door and opened it,i was greeted by my old made cecilia,her face lit up as i entered,"miss you're back"she beamed.

"Hey cil"i smiled and walked towards her,she was the same age as me so i treated her like my best friend she wasn't like the rest she never liked miles even for one bit,the reason why they knew eachother even if they haven't met is beacause i always talked about them whenever i see one of them.

She hugged me,"i thought you wouldn't return"she cried.

I hugged her back,"i just needed some time for myself".

She pulled away and held my hands,"do you want me to tell sir miles?".

I shook my head,"no i came here to run away from him".

She gasped in surprise,"what happened?"she held my hand and lead me to the couch.

"Well i don't want to talk about it,is that alright for you?".

She nodded and gave me a reassuring smile,we just sat there catching up with each other.I looked at the clock and saw that it was midnight,"i should head back to my room and sleep,maybe we could hangout like the old days".

She smiled,"yeah i like that idea".

I got up and went into my old room,the inside we're always the same,i plopped down my bed feeling the old nostalgic days i had with it.I took a deep breath,smelling the same lavender scent i used to love.I felt my eyes getting heavy as the time went by,i finally dozed off to sleep.
