𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 [𝟑]

chapter three.

      

     AFTER THEY finished setting up the lights, they now filled up the waterguns with the mixture of neon yellow paint that glows in black lights with the other mixture of blood and chemicals. They made trails all leading together as Deena now turns on the powerbar cable. "Okay, cut it!" She shouts to Ziggy who then gives the okay to Martin.

All the power went off as the emergency lights went on, revealing the words they had written on the walls, on the floors and the trails of the paint-blood mixture all leading together.

Deena, Josh and Marcus all look around as Marcus looks at the two. The bell rings so he runs to hide with Deena and Josh, all three  holding water guns. "I don't see anyone." Deena whispers. "Me neither." Marcus whispered back to her. "I see Martin, Ziggy and Andy!" Josh says and there the three were, Andy holding onto Ziggy's arm who was holding onto Martin's arm tightly. "Jesus, careful!"

They kept looking all around, walking over to the nearest hiding spot. "Be quiet!" Ziggy now tells Martin who looks at them. "Why?" He whispered back to her. "There's someone here!" She says right back in a quiet tone.

The group of six all waited in anticipation for someone, anyone but then a flashlight is shone on Andy, Ziggy and Martin. "Police! Hands up! Hands up! Wait, Mrs. Goode?" He slightly lowers his gun. "Listen to me! You don't have any idea what's going on! You're gonna die if you don't listen to me!" Martin keeps trying to stop Ziggy, keeping his hands raised.

"We cool," he says as the police officer now points the light at the man. "Martin?" He says and Martin pointed to himself, "yeah, yeah!" He says and the cop gets angry. "Are you kidding me?" He exclaimed at him.

Another cop now shines a light at Marcus, Deena and Josh who quickly turned to him, raising their hands. "Hey, freeze! Freeze!" The cop says, looking over to where Martin, Andy and Ziggy were hiding. "I got three more over here!" He shouted to his partner.

"Drop your weapon!" The man shouts and Marcus scrunched up his face. "Bitch, it's a fucking water gu--" "Drop your weapon!" He merely repeated his statement making the three teens set their water guns down. "Slide it to me." He tells them and they do as told. Ziggy, Andy and Martin now do the same.

"We got the 5150--"

The man was cut off, so Andy furrows her brows in slight confusion, the cop was gagging and choking before he dropped, revealing Harry Rooker behind him, also known as the Milkman, the man who murdered a bunch of his costumers, housewives.

Martin screams, backing away which catches the other police officer's attention, immediately rushing over and leaving Marcus, Deena and Josh. "Oh my! Holy..." Martin exclaimed as he is pulled up by Andy and Ziggy. "We gotta go!" Andy simply tells him. "What is that?!" Martin shouts as they run off.

The other cop had begun shooting the killer who then turned to him as the gun clicks because it's empty. Martin watched with a panicked look as the cop gets stabbed by the Milkman. "Okay, we need you to focus because the plan is still on, okay?" Ziggy tells the man.

"Wait, wait, wait, you two are leaving?" Martin says as they stood up, holding onto their arms. "Hold fast. Stay out of their way. They'll walk right by you." Ziggy merely tells him. "Like Deena said, they don't kill you if you don't try to stop them." Andy now reassured Martin before the two women now stood up.

He watches the milkman as the cop drops dead and Andy ran over to where she was told to keep where Ziggy was told to keep watch with her, "please be careful, Zig..." She tells her and Ziggy looks up. "You be careful." She furrowed her brows at the other woman.

"When this is all over... I owe you... Milkshakes and burgers on me, alright?" Andy says and Ziggy just nods, smiling softly before the other got up and ran over to where she was told to wait and hide. Marcus and Josh had one of the gates covered, Martin had the other, Ziggy got one and Deena went to where they tied up Sam to cover the scent of her blood.

Andy sat down behind the counter, her eyes widening at one of the killers who was super tall, walking into the store Josh was watching. She begins panicking all of the sudden, feeling like she should back out right now.

But she can't let them down, not after all their hard work. Suddenly, the gates all dropped one by one and the four all quickly tied the ropes that will now be keeping the gates down. She spots Ziggy running over to the bookstore where Marcus was supposed to keep watch. He realized that now as he runs with her.

Ziggy pulls down the rope but it stops, so Marcus quickly rushed to the rope when he got to the store, trying to pull it harder to help Ziggy. The gate comes down and the killer grunts as he hits the axe against the gate. Marcus stood up, "are you okay?" He asked him.

"I thoufht you heard us assign you to book store duty." She said, grabbing his arm and running off with him. "Sorry! The cops kind of derailed our mission, Ziggy." He says, nevertheless, running alongsides the woman to join the others behind the counter as Deena looks to Josh and Martin. "How many is that?" She asked. "I got one, Martin got the Milkman." Josh says when he looked back at his sister.

"Four. We have four." Marcus said as he and Ziggy walked in. "Skull Mask, Nightwing." Ziggy says as they sit down on the floor with the others. "No Ruby?" Deena whispered to Marcus who just looked at Josh who looks down. "I don't know. We need to keep an eye on--" "Y-Y-Yo! Why'd it get so quiet?" Martin quickly cut off Josh, looking at Ziggy who looked up.

"Where's Andy?"
