𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 [𝟑]

chapter five.

MARTIN LOOKS at the other four to his side, "okay. Okay, you know what?" He says to them, picking up a water gun. "At least we still have magic blood." He says but when he presses the trigger of the toy gun, it squirts out barely a drop before it stopped.

"I'm tapped." He says and Ziggy runs to pick up hers. "Me too." She says as Marcus looks at Josh. "No, no, no! We can find other weapons! We can use the delivery hallway, outflank them." Josh says before looking at Martin. "Or... we can wait it out." He says and Ziggy agrees. "What?" Marcus says, scrunching up his face. "No, no! We're too close!" Andy disagreed, "too many people have died." She adds.

"I'm not letting them take my sister too! We have to protect her! Please..." Josh says to the pair who seemed to rather stay here, in the safe zone as Andy looked at Josh. "It's fine. We got you," she says, meaning her and Marcus. He looks at her, nodding before he walked out of the store, he picked up Nightwing's axe.

Marcus grabs the closest thing which was a wooden baseball bat as Andy looked at Josh. "I'll cover the door to the delivery hall, you guys fight off Billy and Ruby," she says and he simply hands over Skull Mask's knife. "Be careful." He says and Marcus looked at Josh.

"I got Ruby." He said, making Josh look over at Billy. "Okay..." He merely agrees, nodding his head. Andy stood by the door, leaning against the wall with the knife to her chest.

Andy tensed up when she saw Ruby making her way to the door she was watching when Marcus came up behind her quietly, swinging at Ruby who flung forward, hitting the wall. Josh was now fighting off Billy Barker as Andy watched Marcus with wide eyes.

Ruby fought back right away, swishing her razor at him making him stumble back, covering his stomach as the girl walked over to him, grabbing him by the face as she got on top of him. "Marcus!" Andy said as Ruby started choking her nephew on the floor.

"Get off of him!" Andy was about to run over when a gun shot went off. "That's one." She looked over to see Ziggy standing side by side with Martin. "Go help Josh next!" Andy said as she pulled Marcus up. They run over to where Josh was, he had his arm in his hand and walking away from Billy Barker laying on the floor. "Dude, you okay?" Marcus asked and Josh pointed. "Look, look," he panicked when he saw the monsters slowly getting up.

"Fu... fuck..." Andy whispered, grabbing onto Ziggy's shirt as she backed away further behind her as the Grifter now stood up. "He is fucking terrifying..." She whispered as Billy Barker appeared now, banging his bat on the floor as he walked towards the five.

Ziggy shoots at the kid, hitting his head and then at his shoulder. "I'm... that's it!" She says when the gun clicks empty. Andy pulls her back slightly, the other killers rising as Marcus grabbed the axe from Josh's free hand. "I got you covered. Get behind me." He tells the boy with the injured arm who does so.

"Fuck." Marcus whispers when Ruby slowly got up as well, her wound going away just like it did before when the curse was after Sam. The killers now all come towards them as they back away, "come on!" Martin shouts.

He was holding the bat Marcus dropped as Marcus was holding when suddenly the killers all disappeared into thin air. "She did it." Josh panted as Andy slowly backed away from Ziggy, looking towards the doors.

"She fucking did it." Josh says as Martin fell to his knees, letting out a sigh. Andy looked at Ziggy, staring at her. "Are you okay?" She suddenly asked the other who looked over at her. "Are you?" She says, nodding her head towards the other woman.

"Yeah... Kind of." She whispers and Ziggy reached out, grabbing her hand. The police showed up eventually and found their Sheriff's body and they all told exactly what had been the truth all along, Nick was a killer.

They covered it all on the news that Andy was now watching with Ziggy at the woman's place, she had asked if she can stay there while everything was in the process, Nick's money was left to her and she was selling "their house" which didn't even feel like their house now that all of it was completely over.

"Hi... morning." Ziggy yawns, walking in as she sips her coffee mug. "Hi. Goodmorning... Did you sleep okay?" She asked and Ziggy nods with a small smile on her face. "The best I have in... a long time." She looked at Andy who was staring at her. "I have some stuff to do today and... I'll see you later for supper, alright?" She says and Ziggy simply nods her head.

"We're still on for burgers and shakes right?" She then asked as Andy got up, putting away her mug. "Yeah, hell yeah, Zig." She smiles, rinsing the cup before she sets it down. "I'll see you later." Andy says, grabbing her keys and her bag before leaving the house.

She drove to Sunnyvale to go over some paperworks of going back to being Andrea Davis and also the money Nick left behind when he died that is going to her. "Andrea?" She glanced over to see Mayor Will Goode, she sighed as she came to a stop on her way into the office building. "Did you know anything about this? Those kids exposing the Goode family and putting shit on our image?" He asked her with a slightly angry tone.

"No... I didn't, but I'm glad they did. I regret ever marrying into your fucked up family, Will. But it's fine, your big bro made a deal with the devil so he ends up with the girl he wanted, right? Well, it's all over. And I'm leaving. Goodbye, Will." She sighs, walking into the building as she shakes her head softly.
