*3 months later*
Alana: Maddie, are you coming to the party this weekend?
Madison: Yeah, I guess I am. I don't have anything else to do with my life. I know for sure Brittany won't be coming.
Brittany: You got that right.
Alana: So we can go together. Yes!
Madison: What's the hype about this party anyway? It's just a bunch of horny teenagers grinding on each other.
Alana: I just wanna dress up and come out of the house for once.
Madison: Damn. I need to find an outfit. Someone remind me to do that later. My brain has been all over lately.
Brittany: Have you talked to Nathaniel?
Madison: I wave every now and again but, I really don't feel like talking to him.
Alana: Will you ever talk to him again?
Macy: Yeah, maybe. The hurt is still there though.
Alana: I get you.
Madison: Something weird happened yesterday. I got to my class and Bryan was in my seat. I stood in front of him without saying anything and he wouldn't move until I said hi.
Brittany: That's weird for real.
Alana: Weren't you friends at a point?
Madison: Kinda. He had this look on his face.
Alana: What kind of look?
Madison: Like he was trying to lure me into a trap with his eyes.
Brittany: He likes you.
Madison: Why is that the first thing that came to mind? He does not like me.
Brittany: You're so oblivious, Mads.
Alana: I think she may be right this time but isn't he fooling around with Arizona?
Brittany: Right. I forgot about that.
Madison: I have no clue who that is.
Alana: Shh! You need help. *she laughed*
*At the party*
Madison: It was definitely not a good idea to wear shorts. My legs are so cold.
Alana: We legit just got here. Quit complaining and have some fun.
Madison: I need a drink. *they walked to the counter*
Bryan: Hey Maddie.
Madison: Hi Bryan.
Bryan: You look beautiful.
Madison: Thanks.
Alana: What do you want to drink?
Madison: I don't know. Maybe some fruit punch will do the trick.
Alana: One fruit punch coming right up. *she winked*
Bryan: I didn't take you to be the party type.
Madison: I'm not. I just needed a break from the house.
Bryan: That's understandable.
Madison: Are you here alone?
Bryan: No, my friends are over there. *he pointed towards a group of guys standing together*
