Alex pov

I could feel myself losing control as my wolfs anger was rising every second.
I could barely focus on my surroundings besides chasing down those rougues and ripping them apart.
Why on earth would they smell like Sam, my wolfs worry spiked and I felt him whine for his mate.

I felt a presence next to me and from the corner of my eye I saw Zane with a determind look on his face. Just then I realised that those rougues were carrying Jakes smell too.

I pounded my paws faster untill we were closing in on them when they both suddenly split.

'Zane you go after the one with Jakes scent and i'll handle the one with Sams scent'
Zane nodded his wolfy head and toof off after the black wolf as I charged after the blonde one.

The blonde wolf was fast but I was faster, I jumped on him with a snarl.
The wolf howled in pain as I slashed my paws across his muzzle.

I was about to dig my canine teeth into his neck when he transformed into his human form and gave a smirk that made me want to rip his face right off.

"Kill me if you want but then risk never seeing that delicious mate o"
I snarled in his face at the way he was referring to my mate, fear flashed in his face before it was masked again with that smirk.

Just as I was about to give the final blow my father mind linked me.
"BOYS! Re-group now, theyre decoys distracting you, wev found a lead so get bavk here right now"

A simmer of hope floated through me at those words,  my Sam! and my grip lossend a little allowing the rougue to break free and run away.

My wolf left out a howl of despair and confusion, followed by another similar howl.
I followed the howl to my best friend and future beta, he was all rugged up with dry blood patches on his fur.

Thankfully there was no serious injuries on him but the look of despair in his eyes made ne whine and want to hide behind my paws.

"Boys!"
My father and his beta came rushing towards us.
The look in my fathers eyes had me bowing down slightly.

"I will not tolerate ANY disobedeance from anyone! Even my own son".
His Alpha eyes came through and me and Zane fell on our paws to show we subit.

My fathers wolf puffed air out of fustration. When his eyes suddenly focused to the right.

Follow me, was his only command as he raced off. His beta takin off right behind him, and the two of us behind him.

After running for awhile my wolf started getting aggitated again and lst it show through constant sctraching inside of me.
I soon found myself snarling again and pounding ny paws hard against the forest floor.

I ran past dads beta about to comfront my dad when that smell halted my whole being.
That smell . . . Thats Sam!
