Since this is my first update in awhile please forgive any typos or if its not that good

Zane pov

"Jake! Jake its me! Its me babe your zane!" . . . What the hell whats happening.
We finally got our mates after defeating the rougues so why is jake hiding from me.

It hurts seeing my mate curled away from me using his hands to shield himself from me. My wolf couldnt bare it and started whinning.
I slowly reached my hand out again just to have jake slap at it.

"No no stop! STOP! wha-what are you! Dont touch me! SAM! SAM!"
He was in hysterics again ripping at his hair. I didnt know what to do.
Having my mate scared of me had my heart squeezing in pain.

Alex and the beta came running back in.
Alex had sam in his arms tightly just how I had wanted to hold my Jake.

A couple more of our pack member who came as reinforcements came barging in in wolf forms growling. This had Jake screaming bloody murder and suddenly passing out though I managed to grab him jus before he fell.

I burried my fave in his neck finally able to hold his solid form knowing his safe, but somethimg was wrong and bothered me. I just hope when he wakes I can hold him once more.

I grabbed im tight in my arms and nodded to Alex.
After taking one more look around to see there was no threats we all started to retreat back to the pack house.

Alex pov

Once we all made it back at the house dad ordered anyone injured to see the pack doctor. I was dropping off Sam in a hospital bed when dad mind linked me.
'Alex and Zane make sure you get checked over too then come straight to my chamber '
'Dad im f-'
He cut the link before I could finish I huffed as I made my way to Zane.

"Yo Za-" I stopped up short when I saw the confused and pained expression on my best friend.
Seeing all the emotions swimming in his eyes was stirring up my own emotions and I suddenly felt very drained.
All I managed was to clasp him his shoulder. I had a hunch it had to do with Jake but right now wasnt the best time to ask.

After we both got checked by the pack doc and nurses we headed over to dads office.
We knocked as we entered.

"Come in" the alphas voice echoed to our knock.
I pushed open the old heavy door to see my father standing tall arms folded and eyes trained on us giving away nothing.
Beside him a few steps back his beta and Zanes father.

The image of one day me and Zane standing like that with our mates besides us brought a calmness over my nervous self. I knew what dad was about to ask but i kept images of Sam flashing in my head to give me courage.

"Boys I want to get straight to the point . . . The two human children who are they to you?"

"They are our mates Alpha" Zane was the first to reply. Dads expression remain unchanged whereas his Betas face jaw dropped but he quickly composed himself.

"Our other halfs dad alpha, the ones that were chosen for us to love for eternity. The ones who complete us, who make is who we are, Sam who I have fallen completly and utterly in Love with and will continue to love and protect him with every last breath!" I was heaving at the end and felt a wetness in my hand as my vision sharpend.

I must have gotten pretty emotional as my wolf was very close to the surface. My claws had vome out diggin into my fist I had made uncounciosly. It was bleeding which would explain the wetness

I was no longer worried about what the pack would say . . . Heck even if my father the Alpha wantdd to keep me away from Sam that was not going to happen.
After today I realised nothing matters to me as much as Sam. He is my reason for living He is my all. And I was not going to EVER let him go ever again.

Dad just smirked leaving me confused. He was about to say something when suddenly the door burst open

"Where is he!!! Where is my Son?!!!??!
