On with the story

Alex pov

Something was off, I dont know what but it had my wolf restless and agitated continously asking for his mate.

'Mate' this time he had me growling with him.

Second period had barely started and I was already ready to leav in search of Sam, but the next il be able to see him is at lunch.

I huffed again as my wolf clawed at me for his mate, almost as if warning me to stay by my mates side like something bad was going to happen.

'Alex, Im having an uncomfortable feeling about my mate, I dont know what to do'.

Zanes announcement had my head snapping up.

I looked up to see the anxiety and worry etched onto his face but the fear evident in his eyes had my worry for Sam spike higher.

I closed my eyes trying to calm my wolf down, as well as Zane.

'Dont worry Zane, wel go check on our mates as soon as this lesson lets ou-' when dads orders came through my mind link.

'Alex, Zane I want you both home asap, we need to prepare for the meeting'.

It was laced with alpha authority and I had no choice but to follow.

From the look on Zanes face he didnt like it either.

Finally as the bell rung signalling end of second period, people jumped out of there seats trying to get to the next class.

Zane waited for me as we both walked out the classroom together, I cut him off as he was about to say something.

"Lets get a quick glance of our mates before we head off"

I looked to my side to see Zanes smirk and deternind strides next to me. I guess he was about to say the samething.

I caught a whiff of the most amazing intoxicating smell that always warms my heart, telling me that my Sam was near I looked around but just missed him as he and Jake went into their thrid period.

I was about to walk in with Zane right at my heels when dad mind linked once more

'Hurry boys' I huffed in annoyance where as Zane answered in a polite 'yes Alpha'.

"Calm it Alex, atleast we were able to see them safe and sound'.

I know he was right but I was craving Sam, anything; just a quick peck or even a brush of the fingers, I needed physical contact but I knew it would turn into more.

I pinched the bridge of my nose and turned around heading out the school ignoring all my cells screaming at me for my mate, my wolf howling his displeasure.

~~~~~Time skip to Alexs house~~~~~

Its just as we came through the door that my dad burst through his office.

'Boys follow me now, theres rougues near our borderline' my dad growled with his alpha influence.

Once in the back yard dads beta joined us as we shedded our clothes and welcomed the change.

Once in the woods we all headed towards the area where the rouges were spotted. Dads third in command heading straight for us.

'Alpha the situation is under control, the war wolves have secured the perimeter. It seems they were lingering around the border but not actually coming in'.

As he was filling us in on the situation I hear a meanacing growl, suddenly realising my wolf had taken over and growled, I heared another growl from behind me and looked to see Zane.

'Boys snap out of it'. Dads alpha aura had both our wolves giving us control again but were right at the surface.

The alpha sighed, 'ok, lets head back and get ready for the meeting, Dom and Martin I would like you to assign the warwolves perimeter check shcedules and come back straight to the meeting'.

Its as we were turning around that a group of rouges went running past outside our border. But it was the smell they held that had me taking off after them like a crazed wolf.

'MATE!' Was my wolfs only words as he tore through the woods. .  . .
