Papers fluttering and wanting to abvolate into the heavens. Ink dripping randomly messing up the perfect calligraphy. Although these mistakes can't be avoided, these sure are part of life's challenges.

Lan Qiren made his way to the Gentian house, only to see Madam Lan admiring a sleeping figure on her bed.

"The stern and strict Lan Qiren broke the curfew rule only to visit us here. What a sight"

"Madam Lan. How is Wei Ying?"

"Why do you ask?"

Lan Qiren looked like he just drank a spoonful of vinegar.

"You can tell me, come in and have some tea"

Lan Qiren sighed and followed along. Upon entering he sat down face to face with Madam Lan and told her what the meeting earlier was about. Clearly, Madam Lan was more than amused.

"Now tell me the reason why you're really here?"

They both stood up and Madam Lan led Lan Qiren outside.

"I still need to think of a way for Wei Ying to be accepted into the clan without the elders protest."

Madam lan cogitated her thoughts not until something hit her from the back of her mind. A wicked smile materialized on her face.
