Stars don't shine, they burn. They also grow old and move. No matter how many times they change and disappear, what once was can always come back or remain.
Lan Wangji opened his eyes to the sun hitting his face. He groaned, wanting to stand up. Though there was pressure pulling him down. He looked down and saw Wei Wuxian hugging him, still asleep. It's been three days since he came home, unharmed.
"Wei Ying..."
He smiled, pulling the male closer and kissing his forehead.
"Wei Ying, wake up."
Wei Wuxian groaned as he stretched his feet.
"Ngh... What time is it?"
Lan Wangji looked at the sky.
"Nearly afternoon."
Wei Wuxians' lashes fluttered as he lifted his face, staring at Lan Wangjis' eyes.
"Am I still dreaming or am I really hugging you...?"
"You're hugging me now."
Wei Wuxian smiled as he snuggled into Lan Wangjis' chest.
"Okay..."
Lan Wangji combed his hand through Wei Wuxians' hair. It grew slightly pass his shoulders. The sight of him wearing the Gusu Lan forehead ribbon again made his heart flutter.
"Wangji? XianXian?"
Lam Xichen knocked on the door.
"Are you two awake?"
Lan Wangji sat up as Wei Wuxian stretched on the bed.
"We're awake, is something wrong Xiongzhang?"
"Well XianXian has visitors."
Wei Wuxian sat up, yawning.
"Visitors? Who?"
"Ahhhh! I can't take it anymore!"
Jin Zixuan barged into the Jingshi.
"There you are you chatter box!"
"Wahhh!!! Wuxian!"
"A-Xian!"
"Xian-gege!"
"A-Xian..."
"Wuxian Shīxiōng!"
"A-Xian."
Jin Zixuan, Nie Huaisang, Jiang Yanli, Wen Ning, Wen Qing, Jiang Wanyin, Jiang Fengmian and Nie Mingjue entered the Jingshi, along with Lan Xichen who awkwardly entered and closed the door behind him.
"You chatter box! Come here!"
Jin Zixuan pulled Wei Wuxian in a hug.
"Woah! Ow! Broken rib! Broken RIB!!!"
Jin Zixuan pulled away and flicked his forehead.
"You scared us to death!"
"Move aside, let Wen Qing check her."
Nie Mingjue angrily demanded as Wen Qing walked forward.
"Wait! Hold on!"
Wei Wuxian moved back, staring at them.
"Ming-ge... Did you just call her by her name...?"
"I did?"
Nie Mingjue tilted his head to the side.
"Something wrong?"
"I-"
"I know you want an explanation."
