It's been two days since they got back to Gusu. Wen Qing and Wen Ning had to go back for it'll be great trouble if they stayed. Though before leaving, they made sure Wei Wuxians' fever was no longer there. Lan Wu was the one tasked to lead them back to the back hills.

They reached the back hills and saw two horses ready for them.

Lan Qiren sat down next to him and held his hand.

"You're too young to join your parents... At least live longer with us..."
