I find Keelin in front of the door of the classroom, when she noticed me, I saw her features harden.

" Jade, I called you at least 10 times" she got angry, it was the first time I saw her lose her calm. "Where have you been?"

" I had a little hitch", I explained to her

" Nothing serious?" she asked me with concern, her face found its usual kindness and benevolence.

I was telling her that everything was fine when I saw Liam coming towards us.

" Jade, are you okay?" He seemed to be worried about me.

" Why wouldn't she be? asked Keelin

I looked at Liam and nodded.

" For nothing," I said to my friend.

The biology teacher's voice echoed behind us, asking us to come in.

After settling into my seat next to Liam, I noticed that the psychologist was also present in the classroom. I had completely forgotten to ask Derek and Cora about her. I turned to Liam

" Did she knows for us? " I asked him in a whisper

Liam looked at me " She’s Scott’s boss’s sister"

"That doesn't answer my question, who is Scott's boss?"

He looked at me as if it was obvious
" I'll explain later ", he said

"Why ?"

" Because she's watching us ", he said, pretending to be interested in the blank page of his notebook

Indeed, she was staring right at us.

I turned back to Liam and ignored her.

" it doesn't matter, is she human?"

He nodded his head,

" And the..."

Morrell interrupted me
" Jade, is your conversation more important than the class?"

I saw Liam look at me with a smile on his face, and kicked him in the shin to get him over the sudden joy, he winced in pain.

" Not at all" , I answered by addressing her a forced smile.

She stopped fixing us and redirected her glance towards the other teacher

" You hurt me," Liam grunted.

" Oh, i'm sorry I can't control my strength," I said to Liam with a sarcastic smile.

Liam gave me a killer look that didn't impress me at all because it looked more like he was squinting.

" I think you didn't understand us very well," said the bio teacher, "Jade can you go to the board please."

" What?"

The teacher continued, "Come to the board and recite yesterday's lesson that you had to learn for today!"

" Sorry, I forgot to learn it "

"Come to the board, you must remember a few things," said Morrell. She was seriously getting on my nerves.

I sighed and stood up, before going to the board I asked Liam to read his court in a whisper, what he accepted.

Our strategy worked, even if Morrell had probably realized it, she couldn't divulge our technique.

About ten minutes after I returned to my seat, someone knocked on the door. It was the Dean, and he looked upset. After apologizing to the teachers for interrupting their class he turned to the classroom.

" Classroom 26 has been severely damaged, we don't know who is behind this. Did one of you see something?"

Liam lanced me a nervous glance, Morrell noticed and frowned, but she remained silent.

I put on my most innocent voice, unleashing my acting skills.

" the 26 is one of the rooms next to the locker room?" The Dean nodded, "I don't know who they are but I saw twins playing with the door and after they went inside and I heard a loud noise, like something of heavy had fell."

The Dean frowned
" They were tall, brawny, and brown-haired, Aiden and Ethan Steiner?"

I nodded, and after thanking me, he left.

I'm pretty proud of myself on this one, I find I was really convincing!

I saw that Morrell was still staring at me, but I decided to ignore her and turned to Liam who was looking at me strangely.

" Is it true?"

" Of course, why should I denouced them if they had done nothing?" I said to Liam, smiling so he would understand the truth.

" Okay," he laughed nervously.

For the first time in the hour I take an interest in the class, and start copying the lesson

" What's on your neck? " Liam asked me. He started to pull up my hair. I grabbed his arm, maybe a little violently but that was not my intention, so I let go of his arm.

" Sorry," I apologized.

" How did you get that?" he asked, massaging his sore arm

" It was those fucking alpha, they wanted to make sure it wasn't me who killed Sam and Madison Rolsi."

" You're right, they are creepy," he agreed. His gaze lingered on the window.

" What's wrong?" I asked, turning to face the window.

Liam turned livid
" There are hunters," he said in a whisper
