"No, the question is what the fuck are you doing here?" The man behind the bushes spoke. In the bushes sat a man in crouch position. Navy blue hair, navy blue eyes. I think we know who it is. "Scaramouche, are you forgetting Liyue is my terrain? Like you went to Mondstadt and Inazuma how is that fair?" Childe pouted.
"Atleast I was successful in getting the gnosis in Inazuma." Scaramouche replied snickering. Childe snapped and grabbed him by the collar, pushing him against a nearby tree. Just out of sight. "I'll ask you again, what the fuck are you doing here?" Childe spoke in a low voice. "Why are you following me? Has it something to do with the tsaritsa? Otherwise I'm not interested."
Scaramouche chuckled. "You really thought I'd follow you?" He narrowed his eyes at Childe. "Why are you with y/n." Childe looked away for a moment. Probably collecting his thoughts. "You like her don't you?" Scaramouche raised his voice. Childe looked shocked, his face said all. Maybe he did.
"It's not my fault you left her." Childe raised his voice too. He loosened his grip on the collar. Finally retreating his hands into his pockets. "I didn't leave her." Scaramouche spoke, not even looking at the man anymore. He balled his fists. "I had business in Inazuma. You know that." He looked in Childes dull blue eyes again.
"I know. But does she know?" Childe spoke calmly. "I swore to the tsaritsa. You know I can't tell anyone dipshit." The navy haired spoke with venom lacing his voice. If looks could kill, Childe would be very dead. Childe sighed. "I'm not here to fight you." Scaramouche clicked his tongue. "You've grown soft." He brushed his clothes straight and turned away.
When he was about to leave, the orange haired male grabbed his wrist. Scaramouche turned around abruptly. "Don't touch me." Childe let go and spoke up. "Don't hurt her." At that remark Scaramouche rolled his eyes. "Alright mom." Now Childe clicked his tongue. "I'm not just saying this. I'm warning you." He narrowed his eyes. Scaramouche wasn't fazed by it.
He turned on his heel and left. Scaramouche glared daggers at his back. To say he was irritated was a small word. He didn't know what he was doing in the time he left. Of course he had business in Inazuma but that wasn't the only thing he did. He gave thought to the idea of y/n. What did he think of her? He didn't know. He was still deciding to love her or hate her.
In between his business in Inazuma he checked up on y/n. In the shadows. Just to see if she's holding up right. Well he didn't really know why he did it yet. He was confused.
It's hard to get close to someone in this business. They'd either get targeted by the enemy, or even worse, targeted by the tsaritsa. He never gave thought to the idea of having a loved one. He found emotions weak. Humans a nuisance. He always did what the tsaritsa asked him to do with no further question.
He didn't choose the harbinger life exactly. Well, now isn't the time to reveal the past. But let's just say he didn't have another thing to do. This gave purpose. The greater good. This world is a lie anyway.
Back to you. You went to bed almost immediately when you went home. First you found something to eat and after you changed your clothes. Then the moment your head hit the pillow, you fell into a deep sleep.
It's dark, super dark. Like the darkest shade dark. You sit up. Searching for the lights. They aren't there. There is nothing here. The ground is cold. You have to stand up. "Hello?" Your voice made an echo. It was humid. Every step you took made a splash sound. It was covered in a layer of water. You were in bare feet it was uncomfortable.
"Uhm anyone there?" You trip over your own feet. "Fuck." You wince in pain. The ground was hard. You felt miserable. "Please help." Your voice sounded softer then you would've thought. You tried to scream but it was to no use. No sound came out. There was a light. A small one. But surely it was there.
