Halloween special 2/2 :)

There you were, beside Scaramouche in the pitch Black Forest. You were guessing this is some sort of haunted forest idea. Even though it's actually haunted you knew Hu Tao had more to offer. One hand on the rope the two of you followed it. You were scared. Normally you weren't scared of these kind of things but maybe it's the fact you can't even see infront of you.

Something, or someone ran straight across you. You screamed and stumbled back, you didn't fall though. "AAAH FUCK ME." You panted. "Don't mind if I yes." Scara spoke beside you. "I knew it was a bad idea teaching you my lingo." Scara chuckled. "You're really scared aren't you?" He looked down at you.

"Uhm duh? You're saying you aren't?" You frowned. "Yes, I'm professionally trained and just an amazing person." He spoke highly of himself. "Uhum so what does that have to do with this?" You countered. "It means I'm better off then you in this situation." You looked away. He was right but not now.

You walked further. This time you had to turn right. There were obstacles this time. And also little candles on tree trunks. So you could actually see the obstacles. There was a huge tree trunk this time, blocking the path. You were wearing a dress. Yeah, a dress. How the hell could you have known this.

Scaramouche helped you over the tree trunks. Taking your hand into his and keeping you stabilized. Luckily you decided on ballerina's so you didn't lose your heels. There was a lit up area in the distance. So close yet so far. Suddenly an arrow shot inside a tree. Scara let out a small yelp and bumped into you. "PFFFFT HOW THE TURNS HAVE TABLED." You snorted.

"Get off your high horse and come with me." He pulled you back to the rope. When you reached the lights it turned out to be a checkpoint. There were two papers. One read: find the 8 pages. Slender man you thought. You actually told Hu Tao about slender man. "Oh no." You said. Scara took the page from beside it and put it in his pocket. "1/8." he said.

You told Scaramouche about Slenderman. A horror game about a very tall man in a suit with no face. He's black and white. You start in the woods and find the 8 pages in all sorts of places. In the meantime slenderman tries to stop you from doing that. He tries to kill you.

"So that's how it is. I wonder when we will see him." Scara pondered. You followed the rope further to a little wooden hut. Inside was a page. If you remember correctly, after the first page you're able to encounter him so 2 would mean more danger. You keep nagging Scara about staying by your side since he walks too fast but continue the journey.

2/8. You hear a rustling sound. It makes you stop right in your tracks. Infront of you, a looming shadow approaches you. Tall, very tall. "No no no no no no no." You muttered. "Shhhh." Scara clasped a hand onto your mouth. He drags you behind the house and shows you the page quietly. It reads: when you see him run. You decide to follow his lead.

You hear the leaves crunching. Quietly you peak around the corner. You see how the costume is made now. Absolutely terrifying until you see a couple of orange hairs sticking out from the mask. It's Childe, on stilts. Huge clothing, exactly as you described him to Hu Tao. "Sheesh what are they feeding you in Snezhnaya?" You whispered.

When he was a far enough distance away you quickly ran to the other checkpoint in the distance. This was how you did it the entire time. Childe was surprisingly agile on those stilts, he's really living his role. At first it was really scary but with Scaramouche by your side you could turn it into a funny situation.

Finally the eighth page. Childe walked towards you with his costume off revealing his normal Halloween clothing. He wore a skeleton suit with a matching mask. "You did great! If you walk straight ahead you'll find the after party so I'll be off now." You waved him goodbye.

"We did it!" You embraced Scaramouche. When you pulled back a little, he closed the distance again but this time he kissed you. It was a very sweet lovingly kiss. He admired you. You overcame your fears and absolutely crushed this challenge. When the two of you parted again you saw Scara's lips stained of your lipstick. You chuckled. Scaramouche looked at you questioningly. He looked absolutely astonishing. You answered him. "You look great."

He grabbed your hand and you went in the direction Childe told you to go. As he said, the afterparty was there. All kinds of Halloween decorations were there. Candles everywhere, jack-o-lanterns too. She really did her best on this.

Every playable character was there. All dressed up in their own kind of way. Some of them I'm gonna mention:  Kaeya was desperately trying to put cat ears on Diluc. Kaeya wore the "prince charming" costume. Diluc was just how he always was, therefore Kaeya trying this. Venti lost a bet and had to wear a cat maid costume.
