Waking up to the sound of birds chirping, you rubbed your eyes. Today was the day you went to Inazuma. You were really excited since it's another area to explore and a chapter closer to the truth. Of course a small bit of you still thought about the chance to see Scaramouche again. The memories still vivid in your mind.

You collected your stuff and clothed yourself. When you took a step outside you saw the sun already pretty high in the sky. 'Shit I slept in.' Before you were going to the Crux Fleet you wanted to check in on Childe for a moment. You've grown close lately. You'll miss him.

Since you were already late for your schedule you ran quickly to Verr Goldet. In the meantime you accidentally bumped into someone, dropping your bag on the ground. "I'm so so sorry." You grabbed your bag. "The fuck." Someone muttered under their breath. You turned around, finally able to see the source of the familiar voice.

His left arm is covered with cloth and he's wearing black gloves. He's also wearing black boots. Here and there there's purple and light pink tones on his clothing. His face in a exaggerated annoyed expression. He has a purple, what looks like, gem on his forehead. His orange fading to yellow eyes narrowed down on your figure.

"I'm so sorry please forgive me." He kept silent only clicking his tongue. You looked at the floor out of awkwardness. It was looking real floory today. "Get out of my sight human." He curtly said after a while. You didn't think twice and walked away. "Rude." You muttered. "What was that?" "Nothing." You whined.

You saw Xiao for a couple of minutes and he already got under your skin. Yeah, he is in constant pain and stuff. But that's no reason to be so rude when you even took the time to apologize. Well maybe you'll see him again sometime and he'd show his real self. But now's not the time to contemplate about the future.

"Ah, I'm so sorry I didn't know it was you. Are you hurt?" He checked you for injuries. It warmed your heart. He really was caring. "I'm fine, don't worry you big wuss." You winked playfully at him. You stood up, brushing the dirt off your clothes and sat next to him. Feet dangling over the peaceful water. You sat there in silence, just soaking up the scenery for a while.

It was a comfortable silence, it always was with him. He gave you security maybe even peace. You spent a lot of time together while you figured out your way in Liyue. He helped you train and took you out for dinner. Always a listening ear. When there was something you could always count on him.
