1st POV
(Y/N)
I was playing on the playground in the park by myself. My parents were sitting on the park bench watching and chatting while I played. I was on the monkey bar climbing my way to the other side. I made it the other side, landing on the platform.
"WOAH! You can climb across the monkey bars without falling. COOL!" a boy said in amazement. He had long platinum blonde hair and dark skin.
"Thank. I'm (Y/N)." I said, with a smile.
"Hi (Y/N). I'm Mitch." he responded.
"Want me to teach you how to climb across without falling?" I asked.
"YES PLEASE!" he yelled with sparkles in his eyes.
He jumped onto the platform I was on. I was slightly taller than him.
"Since you're shorter than me by a little." I said
"I'M NOT SHORT!" he yelled. I laughed a little.
"Anyway, I still have to jump to reach the monkey bars. So first, you're gonna have to jump and grab the first bar. I can jump forward and grab the second or third one somethings." I said.
Mitch jumps and grabs the first bar with both of hands.
"Now, you're gonna have to move one of your hands to the next bar."
Mitch followed the instructions I gave him. He did successfully.
"Now do it again to the next bar and repeat when you get to the end."
"My hands are starting to hurt." he whined.
"Let go then."
Mitch let go and landed on his feet on the ground. Mitch repeated what I said to him. After 6 tries he finally got it.
"You did it!" I yelled in excitement.
"Thank you for teaching me." Mitch said.
"MITCH, WE HAVE TO GO NOW!" a girl with green hair yelled.
"Awwww you have to go now." I said, looking to the ground.
"Sorry. Hopefully we'll see each other again." Mitch said as he ran off.
*A few days later. *
I was walking to school. Summer break had just finished. I was walking with my mom to school.
"Mom. When can I start to walk to school by myself?" I asked.
"Soon sweetie. It's the first day back. I want you to get to school safely." my mom responded.
We approached the school. A lot of kids running and walking into the school. Parents hugging and kissing there kids.
"Okay sweetie. One last hug before you go." my mother said.
I hugged her.
"Dad and I will pick you up." my mom whispered in my ear.
"Okay. Bye mom. Love you." I shouted before I ran off. I waved 'Goodbye' as I continued running.
