A freezing Bailley night. Mid January. It still snowed every now and then. Currently snowing right now. I was in the kitchen cooking a nice hot meal for my roommate and I. I work part-time and study for university at the same time. (idk if Bailley has a university. Let's just say it does). My roommate, Bergy. He pretty much has a full time job at Hinobi. 

I heard the front door open of our apartment. I looked over to see Bergy walking in. 

"Hello (Y/N). How was your day?" Bergy asked, taking off his coat and putting on the coat hanger next to the door. 

"Hi. It was alright. Same as most days. What about you?" I replied. 

"Annoying. I had to work with Mitch today. Haneesh was sick." Bergy answered, sitting on a seat across from me at the kitchen island. 

"I'm sorry about that. Hopefully, Haneesh gets better soon." 

"Hopefully."

"Hey, maybe this will make your day better. I made (hot meal of your choice). It's my first time making this. Hopefully it tastes good." I say, handing Bergy the meal. 

"Anything you cook or bake is good." Bergy says without thinking and looking down at the meal.

This causes me to freeze and blush lightly. I looked over at Bergy. He was still looking at the meal but with wide eyes. And it looked like his face was burning red. 

"Heh...Thank you." I said, breaking the silence. 

We were both silent while we ate. Awkward. Until I decided to break the silence again. 

"Hey, why don't you host a Sorcery cards game night? You could invite Haneesh once he gets better and Five. Maybe Nix too. But I don't know if he's into that kind of stuff." I suggested.

"You let me host another Sorcery cards game night after the last one? Don't you remember Mitch invited himself here and ruined everything. Also, Meko also got angry because Five and I played powerful cards." Bergy panicked.  

"It was just a suggestion. There's no need to panic." I said, calmly. 

"I guess so. So would you let me host again?"

"Totally. Just make sure Haneesh is feeling well." I said, sitting on the couch. 

"YOU'RE THE BEST (Y/N)!" Bergy yelled excitedly and hugged my neck from behind the couch. 

"B Bergy can't breath." I pointed out. 

"Oh sorry." Bergy said, breaking the hug. 

"What are you planning for the game night?"

"Hopefully another Sorcery cards roleplay. Wizards vs Wizards. The wizards will have to fight for the princess's love. And the princess will be you." Bergy said getting all dramatic. 

"I was actually hoping, I didn't have to be the princess anymore. I was hoping you could teach me how to play or just be another side character that isn't feminine." 

"You want me to teach you how to play?" 

"If that's okay with you." 

I look over my shoulder to see Bergy jumping up and down excitedly. He grabs my wrist and pulls me to the dining room table.
