[3rd Person POV]

Today, it's weekdays. Meaning all students must attend their respective schools.

It's been days since the fireworks festival. 

Ichika finally tells her sisters about her work. You can bet that her sisters are surely surprised. It's a good thing for Ichika because it removes a huge load off her shoulders.

Fuutarou is now in a situation. Maruo called Fuutarou, saying that if any of her daughters were to fail the midterm exams, he would be fired.

After the midterms exam, all the sisters failed the exams. Maruo then calls Fuutarou, he was about to reveal that he had failed to tutor the quintuplets, but Nino grabs the phone and tells her father that they all had passed their subjects. Nino then tells Fuutarou to work harder to make it true as he began feeling more determined than ever to help the five of them pass all their tests.

After that, there will be a field trip tomorrow for the Asahiyama High School. 

(Y/N) is seen walking towards the school. He has one goal in his mind.

And that is to ask Ichika to dance at the Campfire! 

It's a big deal for (Y/N) because there's a legend about it. You could say (Y/N) is a superstitious boy.

But there's a problem for (Y/N), something is preventing him from asking her. What is it? It's Ichika ignoring him for days now.

Why is she ignoring (Y/N)? Only Ichika knows that answer.

(Y/N) felt hurt, his crush has been ignoring him for days. Because of that, (Y/N) has been planning to ask her right now or else she might get taken by someone else in the campfire dance.

(Y/N) always tried to ask Ichika after school, unfortunately for him, Ichika has a new profession as an actress, she has a shoot for a film, which makes Ichika busy after school.

So he has to ask her right now before class or else it's too late.

He was now at his school. He sees a very familiar girl who has light pink short hair at the school gates, who else but Ichika.

(Y/N) quickly went to her. "Ichika-tan!" He calls her.

Ichika noticed him, she suddenly looked away from (Y/N).

It hurt (Y/N) again on the inside, but that is not gonna stop him from asking her to dance with him at the campfire.

"Ichika-tan, can we talk?" He asked her.

Surprisingly for (Y/N), she finally looks at (Y/N). Finally, he longs for eye contact with her after she's been ignoring him these past few days.

But there is something off with Ichika, she has...a tint of redness on her face.

Why?

It's because Ichika also wanted to ask (Y/N) to dance with her at the campfire. Of course, she knew the legend about which the pair who dance at the finale moment will be bound by fate for life.

But why couldn't she ask him already so they can get this over with?

"He's here...I wanted to ask him...but it feels like I'm confessing to him!" Ichika thought to herself. Woah, since when did Ichika became a protagonist in an anime where whoever confesses first, loses.

"Ichika-tan, I've been trying to talk to you lately...There's something I want to ask you."

It seems (Y/N) is asking her about the dance.

It made Ichika's heart started to beat rapidly, she probably thinks that (Y/N) is asking for a dance with her at the campfire, to her which is probably equivalent to confessing his feelings to her. Why does she think it like that? It's because if you know about the legend about the campfire, it's like you're asking him/her if they would like to be bound by fate with you for life.
