Stiles had dropped me at the motel and as I go to my room, I notice that there's a lady from the front desk in my room, cleaning.

"This is my room," I tell her and she looks up from the broom.

"You had it booked till yesterday. Sorry, dear." She gives me an apologetic smile.

"Can't I just stay tonight? I don't have any more money." I explain and she nods in deny.

Normally I would rip her head off, but having the police on my ass was not the best idea.

"Pretty please?" I try again. "You want to let me stay." I try to get into her head.

"Again, I'm sorry." I fail miserably and I turn on my heel, groaning in annoyance.

I turn to the parking lot and notice Stiles's jip coming back and parking in front of me. Without saying a word a get in.

"How did you know?"

"There's always so much you can do with 150 bucks." He replies looking at me in the back seat and I roll my eyes at him.

I was in Derek's loft, sitting on the couch while he was in the kitchen. I look at him as he breaks three eggs into a pan.

"Take a picture, lasts longer." He says not looking back at me.

"I would if I had a phone." I joke looking away from him and at the ceiling.

After a while, he sits on my side, placing a plate with scrambled eggs in front of me, and another one on his lap.

"Thanks." I start eating and he does the same.

The silence was weird. We had met around a week or two ago. There was some kind of tension between us making every moment we spent together extremely weird.

After eating, I throw my head at the back of the couch, still looking at the ceiling.

"You can sleep in the bed." He tells me and I look at him. "I'll sleep on the couch."

"It's your house, I'll sleep on the couch. It's fine." I say and he looks back at me.

"I invited you. I won't let you sleep on the couch." He denies and I roll my eyes at him.

"I'm not doing this right now," I mutter and he chuckles.

"We can share the bed if you feel comfortable with it." Derek tells me and I chuckle back.

"You want me to share a bed with you?" I ask sarcastically.

"What's wrong with me wanting to share the bed with you?" He sits in the same way I'm sitting, laying his head on the couch's back and looking at me.

"Nothing." I laugh. "I just thought you were the big bad Alpha." I tease and he smiles at me, looking away. "Who knew the Alpha has a soft spot for me."

He doesn't look at him, stead he licks his lips nervously making me touch his arm.

"I'm joking, Derek."

He doesn't reply, he doesn't tell me to take my hand away as he did with Stiles neither. Maybe he does really have a soft spot for me, I certainly do for him.

I must have fallen asleep, cause when I wake up, he's on the couch sleeping and I'm on his bed. I sit on the side of the bed and blink to adjust the amount of light in the room. When I open my eyes again, Derek's not on the couch anymore, instead, he's in front of me, scaring me.

"Jesus fucking Christ." I breathe out getting my breath under control again. "You need to stop doing that."

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Derek says not really caring and I get up from the bed and walk towards the bathroom.

When I come out, Derek's in the kitchen, drinking a glass f water.

"I need your help with something." He tells me and I look away, not wanting to deny him since he's giving me a place to live in.

"What do you need?"

We were in the hospital, apparently, there was this girl that had a seizure during PE, and Scott saved her. We had taken her to the morgue and I was with my back against the cold wall behind me.

Erina gets up from her laying position and sits, looking at us as Derek grabs a bottle of pills.

"Side effects may include anxiety, waking, acne, ulcerative colitis. Yeesh." He says as I keep looking at them trying to why the hell did he need me here.

"Who are you?" Erica whimpers noticing that none of us is a doctor.

"Let's just say we have a - mutual friend." He tells her, looking between the two of us and putting away the pills, and walking close to her legs. "You get a... warning right before you have a seizure." He places himself with each hand on each side of the medical bed she was in as he stood in front of her.

"It's called an aura. It's - it's like a metallic taste in my mouth." She explains.

"You don't have to lie, Erica. What's it really taste like?" He asks the girl and I swallow hard.

"It tastes like blood." She confesses, her voice shaking, and he nods at her.

"What if I told you - that all of this could go away?" Derek asks and I finally notice what he wants, a pack. "The side effects..." He runs his hands on her leg. "...the symptoms..." He puts his other hand on her knee. "All of it."

He grabs both of her legs, pushing her towards him, standing in the middle of her legs as their faces stay inches away from each other. I clench my jaw as I fight the urge to rip both of their heads off.

"And what if all those things not only went away - but everything else..." He brings his hand to her face and it becomes harder and harder to control the bloodthirst. The anger made it worse, I could almost taste her blood on my tongue. "...got even better?" He finishes.

"How?" She asks looking into his eyes like a lost puppy.

"Let me show you." He looks down and then up again, his eyes turning red.

His stare changes from her eyes to her mouth to her body, making the anger get worst. With that, I back away from the wall and out of the room as fast as I can.

I run through the hospital trying to find the blood supply, when I do I open the door, and take four blood bags, sticking them in my back and walking away as fast as I can.

As soon as I get outside, I hide behind the hospital and bring the first bag to my mouth, trying my best not to get everything dirty with blood. Soon enough the four bags are dried to the last drop.
