It had been a few days. I had been living in the hoods, breaking into some houses to take a shower and change clothes.

A week ago, I didn't need to do things on my own. I had people who would help me, but now? Everyone was dead.

I walk in the woods, and before even seeing my prey I can already smell the blood in its veins. It was unmistakably sent. Human blood, something I had been craving for a while now.

As I walk towards the sent, I start seeing around five men and a werewolf tied by the hands to a three. He had got in a trap.

As the two men stayed close to the werewolf on the tree, I noticed the other three going to separated locations.

I crack my neck as my eyes turn a reddish color and run towards one of them, jumping on him, my legs wrapped around his torso, as my fangs quite literally open his throat in half.

I push away as the blood drips down my chin, pushing the body away, and running towards one of the others.

My mouth attached to his neck as if there was no tomorrow. When I notice, his head is no longer connected to his body.

I had blood all over my shirt and face as I grab the man's head and walk towards the last prey. I look at him and throw the head away.

"Quiet," I order and he does as I told him to, unable to do anything else.

I walk towards him and look into his eyes as he looks back at me in pure fear. I open my mouth and bite his neck. The blood on his veins going into my body. When there's no more blood in him, I walk towards the other two, noticing that they had already killed the werewolf.

"Hello." I smirk at them and they look back at me, ready to attack but I'm faster.

I run towards them, placing my hand on one of their necks and pushing him against a three, bitting the other's jugular's off. I look at the last man, struggling to get up and raise my brows at him, placing my hands at both sides of his head, breaking his neck.

I turn on my heel to run away but when I do, there's a man in front of me.

Werewolf. An Alpha.

He's staring down at my bloody figure and I'm looking up at his blue eyes.

"What are you? I can't hear your heartbeat." The Alpha asks and I look at him from up to down.

I scoff and turn around only to see another werewolf.

"You smell like new meat," I tell the teen in front of me.

"You're an Alpha." The wolf behind me states, making me roll my eyes at him. "Where's your pack?"

"Not quite." I reply to the Alpha's statement. "I'm on the run. Would you mind?" I look between the two of them, telling them to get the hell away from me.

"What's your name?" The new werewolf asks.

"You first." I look between the two of them.

"I'm Scott McCall." The younger wolf tells me and I nod looking back at the other one.

"You have a name, Alpha?" I tease, noticing he hadn't replied.

"Derek Hale." He says looking at me from up to down and I nod at him. "Your turn."

"Amber Winter," I reply and he keeps looking at me as if I was an alien.

I bring my hand to my chin, cleaning the blood and bringing it to my mouth, never looking away from Hale, as my teeth got stained with the hunter's blood.

"What did they do?" The baby wolf asks, looking at the man cut in half, tied to the tree.

"Declared war," Derek replies and I look at him and laugh in his face. "What?" He asks annoyed.

"They had already declared war. They murdered my pack." I tell the two wolves at my side, as I untie the body, letting it fall to meet its other half.

"They what?" Scott asks and I look at the boy.

"Murdered my pack. Do you want me to write it down?" I ask him defensively and he swallows hard.

"Why did you kill them?"

"Because I was thirty and because they want my head on a stick." I walk away from them but Scott runs in front of me.

"Where do you live? You're new in town." He states and I take a deep breath.

"Right here." I give him a fake smile. "So if you two don't mind, fuck off." My smile drops at the last two words.

"It's dangerous out here. You've seen what they did-" Scott keeps talking as Derek puts his back against a tree looking at us.

"Get the hell out of my way," I argue as I try to walk away, but he gets in front of me again. "Do that again, and I'll cut your head off."

"I live alone." Derek speaks up and I look back at him, confused.

"Good for you?"

"You can stay there." He tells me and I chuckle. "What?"

"You just saw me massacring five people by ripping their necks out." I remind him. "What tells you that I won't rip your neck out in the middle of the night."

"You would have tried it by now."

I look at him and then walk towards the dead hunter, putting my hand on his pocket and taking his wallet, grabbing the fifty bucks he had on it and showing them to Derek. "I don't need a babysitter."

I do the same thing to the other bodies as they just stand there looking at each other and then at me without knowing what to do. In the end, I had one hundred and fifty dollars.

"Where's the cheapest motel?"
