When I leave the shower, the clothes are nowhere to be found. I wrap myself in a brown towel he had laying around and walked towards the drawer, noting he's still on the bed he was when I got home.

"Thanks for the clothes, asshole," I tell him as I take a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt.

"That's better." He says after sniffing the air and getting up, grabbing my hips through the towel.

"Get away, horndog." I joke, but instead of walking away, puts his lips to my collar bone as he runs his hands up and down my sides. "So, that was why you wanted Allison's sent out of me so bad." I turn to look at him.

"One very strong reason." He says looking down at me, everywhere but at my eyes.

"I'm tired, Derek," I let out but my body betrays me when it sends a small moan afterward.

His hands keep traveling up and down my body as the towel gets looser and I hold on to it for dear life. His chest is pressed against my back as I try to decide either to let this keep going or if it's better to go to sleep.

I swallow hard, as I open my mouth slightly to catch my breath and decide that maybe sleep is not as important. I mean I'm dead, right?

I was at Lydia's party, apparently, no one was there so Allison called me. Who come I be friends with an Argent from everyone. I was wearing a tight velvet dark green dress. My hair was down and I was wearing black stiletto heal boots.

I used to love parties before I started craving blood. The sent of so many people was an amazing way for me not to be able to keep control and not rip somebody's throat out. Since I was eighteen I never came to a party. I obviously hadn't thought this through. A party is already bad enough, not only that but it's a full moon.

I can already feel the smell from the door before I even knock. When I finally do, Allison is the one opening it.

"You look amazing!" She smiles at me and I smile back at her, getting.

"Thanks, you too." I walk with her towards the pool.

After a while, we both walked in different ways. As I'm walking around I see a girl I didn't recognize walking and looking at me, I walk to her and as soon as I do she walks away. I walk behind her, feeling like I needed to get to her, never knowing why.

She takes me outside the house and when we're far away from everyone, she finally stops, looking at me. Her eyes are red, not the iris but everything around it.

She turns her head to the side and I notice the claws on her hands and the fangs in her mouth.

"You died..." I mutter.

"So did you," Luise replies walking towards me, for some reason, I don't walk away from her. "You don't look like me." She puts her index finger under my chin, analyzing my face.

"Of course I don't. You lived one hundred years ago." I step back. "How is this possible?"

"Good question. I've been trying to figure that out for a while now." She tells me as she flicks her hair.

"Why are you here? Couldn't you come before they all died?" I ask her and she looks at me from up to down, scoffing.

"I didn't need to and if you hadn't fucked it up, I would still be living my best life on the Maldives." Luise rolls her eyes at me.

"I don't need your help."

"Really?" She scoffs. "What's an Alpha without a pack?"

I clench my jaw at her question, swallowing hard.

"When I died for the second time-"

"Second time?"

"We're immortal, sweaty." The woman chuckles.

"How many times did you die?"

"I lost count." I look away at her response as she keeps talking. "Like I was saying, when I woke up after the fight, I was no longer an Alpha."

"What's your point?"

"You don't need to be an Alpha, Amber. The pack's gone. You're the last one left." She gets closer to me again.

"I thought it was in your best interest for me to be the Alpha."

"Every alive person died when the hunters attacked. Join a pack and live, or stay alone and die. For good this time." Luise tells me,

"How do we die?"

"I'm don't know but I'm pretty sure Gerald does." She swallows hard. "I'm not letting them get you, and for that, you need a pack." She states as walks away.

"You're leaving?!"

Luise walks back to me, putting her hand on my face and instantly I start to convulse under her hand. Unable to stand, I fall on the ground as she kneeles.

"I was never here." She whispers and suddenly, everything's black.
