I was in Derek's loft again since I had nowhere else to go. I was laying on his be staring at the ceiling when I start hearing the loft's telephone ringing.
I don't pick up, not moving from the bed. The phone keeps going and when it rings three times on a row I groan, getting up.
I pick the phone and bring it to my ear.
"Derek's not home-" I start saying but I'm immediately interrupted by Stiles.
"We need your help! Derek's paralyzed from the neck down, we're in the pool and there's a lizard-" He says and I frown.
"A what? Where the hell are you?" I ask the human on the other side of the phone.
"We're in the school! Hurry the hell up!" He hangs up and I get dressed as fast as I can, running out of the loft and towards them.
After a few minutes of running I get there. I see Scott's car in front of the school and he was getting off, walking into the door, turning back to look at me.
"The bestiary is in the pen drive on-" He says to the phone.
"I need your help." I tell Scott, grabbing his arm and pushing him to the school. "Where's the pool?"
"The door on the left and then the one on the right. Why? What's happening?" He asks confused and I tell him the exact same thing Stiles told me.
When we see the pool, we also see Stiles and Derek drowning. There's a lizard
"Help them. I take care o that fucking thing."
As Scott pulls the two men, I look at the lizard that's walking towards me. Its eyes looked different from everything I've ever seen. All of it looked different from everything I've ever seen. As the creature starts running in my direction, my nails are changed to clwas, the same way my fangs appear in my mouth.
When it jumps in my direction, I'm able to dodge it away, but before I'm able to attack back, it pushes me against the mirror, breaking it. I grab a piece of glass to protect myself with but instead of attacking me, the creature looks at it and then runs away.
I and Scott share a confused look as the lizard breaks the glass ceiling and runs away.

We were looking at the bestiary Chris Mccall had on his pen drive. It was written in some kind of romance language I had never seen.
"Is that even a language?" Stiles asks as he looks at the screen of his computer.
"How are we supposed to figure out what this thing is?" Scott argues looking at us, while I try to understand what was on the screen.
"It's called a kanima." Derek speaks up and we all look at him wondering why he hasn't told us before.
"You knew the whole time?"
"No. Only when it was confused by its own reflection." He explains.
"It doesn't know what it is..." Scott starts saying.
"...or who." Derek replies.
"What else do you know?" I ask him and he nods in deny.
"Just stories, rumors."
"But it's like us?" Scott asks him.
"A shape-shifter, yes, but it's - it's not right. It's like a -"
"An abomination." Stiles finishes and Derek looks away unaware of what to do.
"Derek? We need to work together on this." Scott tells him. "Maybe even tell the Argents-"
"No fucking way." I interrupt him as Derek says something similar at the same time.
"You trust them?"
"Nobody trusts anyone! That's the problem." Scott snaps at both of us. "While we're here, arguing about who's on what side, there's something scarier, stronger, and faster than any of us, and it's killing people and we still don't even know anything about it."
"I know one thing. When I find it? I'm gonna kill it!" Derek says before swallowing hard and starting to walk away. "You're coming?" He asks me and I nod, walking behind him to his car.
