"Ah, Hagrid! The usual, I presume?" Asked the bar tender of the leaky cauldron.
"No thanks, Tom. I'm on official Hogwarts business today. Just helping young Harry and Mary here buy their school supplies."
"Bless my soul. It's Harry and Mark Potter." Said Tom.
"Oi, it's Mary Potter not Mark" said Mary glaring at Tom.

The pub immediately went silent and everyone noticed. A man came up and shook Harry's and Mary's hand.
"Welcome back, Mr Potter, welcome back." said the Man.
A witch came up and shook Mary's hand, as well.
"Doris Crockford, Ms. Potter. I can't believe I'm meeting you at last."
A man in robes with a turban on his head appeared.
"Harry, Mary P-potter. C-can't tell you how pleased I am to meet you." said the Man in the turban.

"Hello, Professor. I didn't see you there. Harry, Mary, this is Professor Quirrell. He'll be your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts." Said Hagrid.
"Oh, nice to meet you." Said Harry and he put out his hand, offering a handshake with Quirrell.
but Quirrell looks at Harry's, then Mary's head and hesitatingly refuses.
"F-fearfully fascinating subject. N-not that you need it, e-eh, Potters? Heheh." Stuttered Quirrell.
"Yes, well, must be going now. Lots to buy. Heh." Said Hagrid.
"Goodbye." said Harry, but Mary said nothing, she was still a little annoyed at being called Mark.
The three left into a back room winery in front of a brick wall.
"See, Potters, you're famous!" Said Hagrid.
"But why are we famous, Hagrid? All those people back there, how is it they know who we are?" Asked Harry.
"I'm not exactly sure I'm the right person to tell you that, Harry." Said Hagrid as he tapped the brick wall clockwise with his umbrella. The blocks then magically shifted and opened up to reveal a hidden, busy street called Diagon Alley.
"Welcome, Potters, to Diagon Alley." Said Hagrid
Harry grinned broadly as they stepped into the street and walked down it.
"Why are you upset Mary" asked Hagrid.
"How can we be famous but they think I'm Mark" asked Mary.
"The wizarding world hasn't caught up yet" said Hagrid.
"Here's where you'll get your quills and ink, and over there all your bits and bobs for doing your wizardry." Said Hagrid changing the subject.
Harry and Mary were amazed as they passed by shops and owls and bats. A group of children were crowded around a shiny broom.
"It's a world class racing broom. Look at it, it’s the new Nimbus 2000!" Said one.
"It's the fastest model yet."exclaimed another.
