Potions and Parcels

It was morning at Hogwarts, Harry and Ron were running in the corridors, because they were late for Transfiguration class. In the class, a tabby cat was sitting on a desk. Harry and Ron rushed Hermione rolled her eyes in annoyance because they're late for class. Mary and Roxy sat smirking.
Told you it was the wrong way thought Mary.
Shut up thought Harry back. Ever since the sorting hat had mentioned their telepathy they had been using it all the time.
"Whew, we made it. Can you imagine the look on McGonagall's face if we were late" said Ron loudly.
The cat jumped off the desk and transformed into Professor McGonagall. The two boys were amazed.
"That was bloody brilliant" exclaimed Ron.
"Thank you for that assessment, Mr. Weasley. Perhaps if I were to transfigure Mr. Potter and yourself into a pocketwatch, that way one of you might be on time" said Professor McGonagall.
"We got lost" argued Harry.

"Then perhaps a map? I trust you don't need one to find your seats" said Professor McGonagall
Later on, inside Snape's potions classroom, the students were chattering, sitting near steaming cauldrons. The door slamed open and Snape came rushing in.
"There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class. As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is potion making. However, for those select few..." said Snape, looking at Draco, who smiled "who possess the predisposition, I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory and even put a stopper in death" he finished Snape then noticed Harry, writing what Snape said in his lecture down, in his view, not paying attention.
"Then again, maybe some of you have come to Hogwarts in possession of abilities so formidable that you feel confidant enough to not...pay...attention" said Snape. Mary nudged Harry, finally making him look up to the Professor. Snape then walked to where he can speak to Harry more properly.
"Mr and Ms Potter. Our...new...celebrities. Tell me, Mr Potter, what would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood" asked Snape.
Hermione raised her hand, so did Mary. Harry shrugged.
"You don't know? Well, let's try again. Where, Ms. Potter, would you look if I asked you to find me a bezoar".

Hermione's hand raised again.
"I don't know, sir" said Mary
"And what is the difference between monkshood and wolfbane, Mr Potter" asked Snape

"Pity. Clearly, fame isn't everything... is it, Potters" said Snape.
"Clearly, Hermione knows. Since it's a pity not to ask her" said both twins in unison.
Hermione looked a bit surprised as everyone laughed.
"Silence" ordered Snape "And put your hand down, you silly girl" he said glaring at Hermione, He sat in front of Harry and Mary, and leaned towards him. For your information, Potters... asphodel and wormwood make a sleeping potion so powerful, it is known as the Draught of Living Death. A bezoar is a stone taken from the stomach of a goat and it will save you from most poisons. As for monkshood and wolfsbane, they are the same plant, which also goes by the name of aconite" snarled Snape, "Well? Why aren't you all copying this down" he demanded. The students obeyed Snape and started to write down what Snape said. Snape returned to his desk, and dipped his quill into some ink. "And Gryffindors, note that five points, will be taken from your house... for your classmate's cheek" said Snape, then Roxy burst in, she had been talking to Professor McGonagall. "and another five points from Gryffindor for Ms Prewett's lateness" Snape smirked.

In the great hall, around midday, the students were all doing their homework. Seamus was trying a spell on a cup.
"Eye of rabbit, harp string hum. Turn this water, into rum" he recited and looked into the cup and shook his head. "Eye of rabbit, harp string hum..." he started reciting again.
"What's Seamus trying to do to that glass of water" asked Harry
"Turn it into rum" said Roxy and Mary in a duh tone.
"Actually managed a weak tea yesterday, before-"
Ron was cut off when a mighty flash occurred. The cup had exploded and Seamus was left charred. Several students laughed at this as Hermione fanned away the smoke with her hand. Suddenly, a flock of owls started coming into the hall from the rafters above.
"Ah. Mail's here" said Ron
The owls soared by, dropping parcels to students. Harry and Mary got nothing. Harry saw the newspaper Ron had put down.
"Can I borrow this" asked Harry. Ron nodded "Thanks".
Neville, who wasn't wearing his cloak, was unwrapping a gift. It was a clear glass ball with a gold banner around it.
"Hey, look! Neville's got a Remembrall" said a boy called Dean Thomas.
"I've read about those. When the smoke turns red," Hermione started the smoke turned red "it means you've forgotten something" she finished.
"The only problem is, I can't remember what I've forgotten" said Neville.
"Well, are you feeling cold Neville" Roxy hinted
"Hey, Mary, Ron, Roxanne (he got an 'it's Roxy'), somebody broke into Gringotts, listen. Believed to be the work of dark witches or wizards unknown, Gringotts goblins, while acknowledging the breach, insist that nothing was taken. The vault in question, number 713, had in fact been emptied earlier that same day" "That's odd. That's the vault we went to with Hagrid" said Harry and Mary in unison.
