She couldn't help but chuckle at her phone screen, soon realizing she had to leave she looked at the boy next t o her. "JJ I got to go, I'm sorry" She said standing up and he too did in confusion. "was it Rafe?" He asked and she nodded. She could tell he wanted to say something but he didn't. "it was nice to be with you after all this time" she said because she did miss a bit of these calm moments they had. He smiled and nodded, "You know I can come drop you and chit chat with Rafe a little bit right?" he asked and she shook her head aggresively. "no no chit chat won't last for two seconds before one of y'all lash out at the other for no reason" She said now walking away back to the road with JJ following from behind. "I love you Princess" He said holding her hand from behind and she turned around and looked at him, "you don't have to say it back now but you will soon and I know it" He smirked.

Kayla looked at him for a few seconds before turning back away "Bye JJ" she said and began walking towards the hotel. Walking down the road she couldn't help but think about the last few words JJ said and she smiled to herself, as if she wasn't shocked he'd say something like that. As if she knew him too well to know his every next step, and every word that comes out of his mouth she knew in her head he would say. like their souls were somehow connected. somehow one.

Kayla's thoughts were soon stopped when she noticed s person in a hoodie behind her. Making the two of them the only people in the vicinity and that startled Kayla. The fact that it was only her and a shady person in the back and no one to hear the screams of death and tears. Which maybe one of them were about to cause.

Kayla walking down now slowly noticed that the someone was following her from behind and she didn't want to make it obvious that she noticed. Keeping her phone on her hand and Rafe's contact button on speed dial incase of course. The person kept getting closer so Kayla picked her pace and tried to walk to an area with more people but sadly there weren't any people at all for a few more minutes down the road. The person tailed her close enough and Kayla prepared herself to do something about it instead of waiting for her moment of death.

When the person was not only a few feet away Kayla suddenly stopped turned around and held a small blade which she had been carrying around like a literal psycho since her last encounter of creepy stalkers, Soon the person behind her put her hoodie down and held both hands up. "Hey it's just me" Thea spoke and Kayla groaned loudly. "dude I swear you're like a rock stuck in my shoe and each time I try to shake you off you're somehow always there!" Kayla yelled.

"I have nowhere to go Kayla and I know you think I helped JJ but it wasn't me" Thea saw Kayla's eyes roll. "but I know who it was, please just let me help you Kayla. I'm your only family left and we will always stick together okay" Thea somehow sounded genuine and Kayla too thought to herself that at this point she might as well figure out who the hell was doing this to her. Since Thea apparently knew all the answers. "one night here, one night you explain yourself and tomorrow go back to your parents who i have no clue why are letting you roam around like the idiot you are" Kayla said. "yes thank you!" Thea hugged her cousin so suddenly that Kayla was taken by shock.

Kayla felt awkward not knowing whether to hug back but slowly she ended up doing so. She furrowed her eyebrows and tried to let go before hearing a silent voice crack and Thea whispering, "I love you cuz, I'm sorry"

Before she could move her cousin away and get her to explain she felt a sudden cold liquid be injected into her neck making everything around her blurry but the last thing she saw was her cousin who wasn't looking too happy about what she did as if she were guilty. Thea stood there with her cousin who almost fell so suddenly with a injection in her hand and a liquid in it which would knock her unconscious for awhile. The last thing Kayla was able to do was hit her screen on the phone and tuck it in her hoodie.

Thea helping her cousin up helped her walk towards a car with another person on the drivers seat and Thea put her cousin in the back seat to lay and got into the empty seat up front.

Rafe on his end picked the phone up and couldn't hear anything but noises of someone walking maybe a few deep sighs as if they were tired or finally got something done, A door to a vehicle opening and closing and he spoke to the phone. "kay?" He said and got no reply. "Yo, Kayyyy! I think you butt dialed me" His voice screamed from the phone and didn't get an answer. "I'm just talking to myself at this point" He said and Thea swore she heard a voice soon noticing a light from the inside of her unconscious cousins hoodie pocket.

She took it out of there and offed it completely so that no one will be able to use it to track her not any easy ways at least, She and the driver of the vehicle didn't have any conversation besides a few sentences such as: "I feel like I shouldn't have done that" Thea spoke as the other added, "you didn't have a choice, we are helping her thea. there was no other easy way" thea looked back at her cousin and back to the road, "you will get better now Kayla, I promise"
