WHAT A SIGHT

Two years. I am in a break from being a doctor. Is it tiring, maybe? That's why I decided to take a break and work at my friend's pet shop. If you wanna ask what is my current status...I am currently walking down the road to throw the trash they told me to throw. It's a man's job! Why would I be the one doing this??? Well, I don't want to lose my job. I barely have enough money. Afterall, I am going to move out from my apartment. On my way to do my task, I heard a familiar voice.

"What the hell! Watch where you're going, will ya?!" he shouted at the man who accidentally bumped him for being in a rush. "I-I'm so-sorry sir. It's just I was in a hurry," the man replied in a shaky voice. "Yeah, right---" he paused, he let go of the man's collar and squints his eyes.

"Sanzu...?"She gasped and whispered.

Y/n, who was just throwing their trash in the alley, was stunned by seeing the person in front of her. Avoiding to get caught, she slowly hid and quickly escaped the alley but fate won't like that.

"Y/n!! WAITT!!!" He chased the girl and left the man he was dealing earlier but before that he glared at him and said, "You're lucky!"

"Oh my Gosh, I didn't sign up for a marathon!" She was mumbling to herself while running away from the pink-haired man. "Why is he chasing me anyway?? Why am I running away??" she then stopped from running and rests for a bit when she thought she lost him.

"Gotchaaaa~" he said while holding her wrist but not tightly. "Why are you running away from me?"

"Why are you chasing me???" she retorted, clearly annoyed and still panting.

"Uhh...Cuz you are running away...?" he said confused. "Damn you" she groaned before accepting that he caught her.

"...you busy? Wanna eat outside for a bit?" he tried to sound as less awkward as possible. "My treat! Yeah...my treat..." he added then chuckled slightly. He looks at her with a slight smile before clearing his throat. "I mean if you want to and you are not busy...just to catch up, I guess."

She hesitated a bit but then she nodded. The male became evidently excited but of course he tried to contain it. "Great! Let's go!" he chirped then started walking to where they are headed.

As they arrived, she noticed that it had a familiar feel. That's right! It was the same place they used to eat at. Her eyes roamed the place as the other one beside him ordered their food. She then asked the man, "You still remember this place?" she looked at the man with a slight smile. "Yeah, I remember clearly...that's why I brought you here." he replied, returning the smile she showed.

They both sat down but the silence surrounded them even if the place is packed. Sanzu cleared his throat and started, "So... how are you...? I mean how have you been doing?"

"I am doing great. Currently, I am working at my friend's pet shop. You?" she asked the man but he wasn't able to talk when she added, "You doing great as Bonten's no. 2? Afterall, being the executive come with benefits." 

He was shocked. How did she know? They weren't seeing each other for around 8 years already. "How did you know?" he asked the girl. She ignored his question and proceeded in talking. "Anyways, why are you here. I thought you guys are busy at work. Why are you loitering around the streets?" again he wasn't able to reply because their food was served. They chatted along and updated themselves about what is going on with their lives.

It has this feeling. The whole time there was this strange feeling in them that they felt like they longed for it. They're now walking down the streets of Tokyo, it was already night time. Their laughter was paused when Sanzu questioned the girl, "So where do you live? I mean I will bring you there." 

She sighed as she looked at him, gaining a little bit of eye contact before her eyes turned back to look at the road. "I am actually planning to move out of my apartment. Supposedly, I am going to look for a place to stay but my plans changed so maybe I will start looking tomorrow." She stated but the man will not let her tire herself in looking for a place to stay. "You can stay at my place. I am alone anyways." He hoped the idea isn't stupid enough and he hopes she will agree to it. He won't ask a girl for hang out anyway, there is something in this girl that made him soften up. Maybe that's because he had memories of her that he cherished for years?

"Hmmm..." she hummed; she was thinking about the offer. Seconds later, "Yeah sure. I mean if it won't be a bother." What makes her agree to it? Won't it be weird because she just met this man, well maybe they did know each other in the past. What made her trust this man? He is an executive of a gang. Maybe that's the reason? He was in gang, Bonten to be exact, rumors say they started off big time. "Really? I mean sure it won't be a bother. Let's go to my place?" he asked but he was too excited to bring her there. 

"Uhh... what about my things???" Sanzu ignored her and they head to where his car is parked.

They arrived to his place, it was big and classy. What do you expect? He is from a rich gang, obviously they make tons of money. Y/n went inside his house and her eyes instantly wandered off the premises. She was in awe. She suddenly thought, "if I didn't stop my career as a doctor will I be able to make tons of money? I guess I will then I can have a house like this...damn..." her thoughts were cut off when he called out to her. "Wanna watch a movie?" Sanzu asked as he removed his coat and shoes. "Hmm. Sure. Whatever you want, it's your house anyway," she replied without even looking at him because she was busy looking around his house, still in awe.

"Great! You choose the movie. I'll just change my clothes and fix myself for the night." He said as he handed her the remote and went to his room. "Eh...okay." She said as she looked for something to watch. She couldn't pick anything among the newly released movies so she just clicked something she have watched with him for at least 4 times already. It was their favorite movie. Sanzu then came back and sat beside her. He realized that they're watching a familiar movie. Too familiar that he already knew it was their favorite that he even memorized how the plot goes. "Still your favorite huh?" he commented as he laid on Y/n's lap. "Well, yeah. Can't find something interesting so I just picked this one." She didn't mind Sanzu laying on her lap. She was used to it. Very used to it. Minute have passed in the movie, Y/n averted her gaze from the movie to look at the man as she saw him peacefully sleeping. She smiled softly and turned off what they were watching. She gently played with his hair before whispering softly, "Goodnight~" and from there she also dozed off. They both are in a deep slumber. Who knows? Maybe they are dreaming of each other.
