TELL ME A STORY

There goes the morning sun kissing the faces of the two people who are still snuggled up together in one couch. Both seemed to enjoy their sleep being in each other's embrace with them not knowing they were already cuddling. As peaceful as it looks, the male woke up from a sudden intrusion.

"Hey Sanzu, what the hell man?! Why aren't you picking up your calls---" Rindou Haitani, the youngest of the Haitani brothers, spoke as they barged inside Sanzu's house clearly not knowing that they are sleeping. "What's wrong Rindou?" his brother asked as he just got in and saw the view in front of them.

"Oh look. He's hooking up with someone...I wonder who is the not-so-lucky girl...?" the older brother, Ran, chuckled as he wakes up the pink-haired male. "Oi! Enough spooning around. Boss is waiting for ya!" he then taps the man multiple times as the other tries to figure out who was the girl that Sanzu's cuddling with. Sanzu groans in annoyance as he opened his eyes and glares at the men in front of him.

"What are you two doing here...? In my house, without my permission to go in, and with these smug looks on your faces?" he said irritably. "Well, care to explain who is this girl you're hooking up with?" Ran replied still the smirk on his face visible. "Wait. The girl he's with isn't just any other girl...it's his ex -girlfriend 8 years ago!" he said surprised as Sanzu just rolled his eyes. "Since when the hell did you have to care about my life and my past?" he stood up carefully not to disturb Y/n who is sleeping soundly. "Plus, why are you both here?" he added. The younger brother told him that they have a meeting with their boss. He sighs and told them to wait for him outside his house for he will prepare himself for a bit.

He finished fixing himself to make him look presentable and glances at the girl. He smiles and gently lifted her up and carried her to his bedroom. He wouldn't dare to risk her sleep in a limited space of the couch. As he placed her on the bed, he couldn't help to admire her features. He unconsciously caresses her cheek as he smiled from the memories, they have way back when they first met.

"It's funny how I changed a lot in my looks and you stayed the same. Pretty as ever. I just hope everything about you stayed the same...including those feelings..." he thought to himself as he snapped out of it immediately realizing what he was doing.

He retracts his hand from her cheek and glances at her peaceful face before turning towards the door. He wanted to kiss her on the forehead so badly but he kept away from doing it. He then heads off outside securing some things before entering the car.

"So... how did you see each other again? Are you both back like as in "together"?" The one with a short and purple-haired brother spoke as he revved his engine and drove away. "No... just catching up. I let her stay at my place since she will move away from her apartment anyways." Sanzu replied abruptly. "How long will she stay at your place?" Rindou asked. "I don't know." He answers shortly. The whole drive was about 10 minutes as they also started to open up topics regarding their jobs.

As they reached the building, they were soon greeted by the personnel that worked for them. They reached their meeting area as the other executives and members were having chitchats everywhere. "Hey! There's the trio!" Kakucho chirped as the three of them approached to where they were sitting. "Had fun last night, Sanzu?" their boss said coldly as the rest were shocked of his sudden greeting. Sanzu was as shocked as them. How did Mikey know he had fun last night or moreover, how did he know what he did last night? He just shrugged the thought off as he answered him, "Yeah, I guess. Why?" Mikey glanced at him and said, "You were with Y/n last night, right? How was she? What is she doing now?" he asked without looking at the man. "She...she's doing great... uhm, currently staying at my house." The pink-haired male replied, his confusion visible. The white-haired male with dead-looking eyes didn't respond anymore as he signals them to start the meeting.

Meanwhile, 15 minutes have passed since Sanzu left his house, Y/n woke up. She scanned the whole house checking for him but as she concluded he wasn't around; she made herself feel at home. She cooked herself breakfast, ate and washed the dishes just like how her routine usually goes. After that, she decided to borrow one of Sanzu's shirts in order to get changed. She toured herself around the house as she saw some of the things that she gave to Sanzu. She looks at them carefully and smiled at the condition of the presents. Some were kept properly in a box and was in a mint-like condition. She wondered," Did he really keep all my presents even after he left me. Talk about cherishing the moments." She placed them back in their proper places and said to herself,

"I still don't get it though. Why? Why did you leave me before without any explanation? You left me without telling me any reasons why are we stopping our relationship." She was still hurt as the scenario that day flashed into her head."

-FLASHBACK 8 YEARS AGO-

Y/n arrived home from her internship at the hospital when she saw Sanzu sitting at her living room with his head hung low. "Hey, Haru! How was your day?" she asked cheerfully as she approached him. "Let's stop this." He replied coldly before standing up looking at her dead in the eye. "W-what?" the girl questioned him, she was taken aback by his words and at the same time she was so confused with his words.

"Let's stop seeing each other. Never again will we meet." He said coldly as he left her there. He was also so hurt to do this but he has already decided. "Wait! Haru!" she said as she caught up to him. "Was there something wrong that I did? Or maybe something is wrong...? I can fix it! I can help you fix it or if its me, I will change that! Just please...don't leave me..." her lips trembled and a tear fell from her once cheerful eyes. Sanzu just kept quiet. He wanted to hug her and apologize. He wanted to explain why is he doing this but he just cannot do it. He left her there as the girl sobbed muttering multiple phrases like "Sanzu, please" and "Don't leave me."

That was supposed to be the start of them living their dreams together. She was supposed to tell him she is finally a doctor but things took an unexpected turn. It was supposed to be the start of their new chapter but it ended as soon as the news came in. She quits her job the same day he left. Her dream was crushed because the one whom she strived hard for left her that day. How is she supposed to focus and stay happy when the one she does this for have already left her? This is where her boring life starts. She asked her friend if she can work at his pet shop. She got the job and live in an apartment with the most annoying people that ever-lived stays in the same building as her. This is where her ruined story begins but...stories contain plot twists, right? Is her meeting up with Sanzu the page turner already? Or is there something else, maybe even a big one...
