Jac was lying in Kian's arms, it was four in the morning and he was stroking her hair as she lay there. As soon as she hit the pillow last night she had been dead to the world and he thought that holding her would do her the world of good. He did wonder what was going through her mind, whether she was dreaming about the future or whether she was dreaming about them but she was peaceful and safe and Kian couldn't help but fall asleep next to her. It reached four in the morning and Jac was awake and highly nauseous, she immediately jumped out of bed and made her way to the bathroom alerting Kian in the process, he got up and followed her as he sits down on the floor beside her pulling her hair back as she was sick.

"No work today for you," he says and she immediately glares at him warning him not to go there "You look pale"

"Yes thank you for the observation Madani" she responds bitterly and Kian just rolls his eyes as he rubs her back gently and she rests her head on her arms

"You're pregnant Jac"

"Yes that is true it doesn't make me an invalid and yet again great observation" she points out and breathes out, she grimaces and Kian holds her hair back as she throws up again "Ugh!"

"Come on let's get you back into bed" Kian sighs lifting her up into his arms, she closes her eyes and he places her back into bed before heading downstairs and rummaging around for a sick bowl, he heads back upstairs and places it down beside Jac "Let's see if we can get a couple of hours more sleep then hopefully you'll feel a little better yeah?"

"Hmm yeah" she nods curling back into his body, he drapes his arm over her body rubbing her tummy gently, she turns around and kisses him softly before turning back around and placing her hand over his, their fingers locking together causing the briefest smile on her face...

Kian tried to get her to eat later that morning before they went to work but she wasn't interested and it made him slightly worried about how this day was going to go. He watched as Jac got ready, she wasn't looking great so he made it clear he wanted to keep her at home today but she was having none of it, he forced her to be on office duties as Kian knew that letting her near an operating theatre it would be hard to hide this pregnancy. With Jac settled in the office with a cup of tea to give her some meaningful amount of energy, Kian could finally get on with the task at hand. He noticed Max going towards Jac's office, the last thing he wanted was for her to be any more stressed but that was taken out of his hands.

"Ms Naylor"

"Let me guess these are the results?" Jac says with raised eyebrows, Max places them down in front of her and she takes them, she flicks onto the next page and her eyes widen "How-"

"I think you should be asking that question to you know who" Max states and Kian enters the room, Jac looks up at him and tilts her head to the side "I'll be waiting with the appropriate action"

"Whatever" she huffs and leans back against the chair, Max looks between them both before perching herself on the end of Kian's desk, he reaches out to take the papers but Jac swipes them away and chucks them in the bin before looking at him "Is there anything you want to tell me?"

"Look Jac-"

"Save it!" she snaps back at him and he sighs "How could you lie to me?"

"It wasn't that simple-"

"Simple? You were operating on patients Kian!" she cries and Kian sighs rubbing his forehead "This is ridiculous, I can't believe, after everything"

"Jac calm down-"

"No!" she snaps at him, he sighs and sits down on the sofa "I...you...just get out"

"Jac, please think of-"
