"Here" he passes her a small piece of card, she frowns and groans slightly at his idea "No?"

"What do you think? A baby shower? Do you really see me doing a baby shower?" she questions incredulously and Kian smirks at her "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, its just how gullible you really are" he nudges her and she rips up the piece of card before chucking it in the bin, her arms crossed over her chest and she raised an eyebrow at him "I was thinking...why dont we go away for a bit, with Emma, before the baby is here?"

"It does sound appealing" she whispers and hooks her arms around his neck "I'll tell you what I think about it after my bath"

"No work today?" he brushes a strand of her hair behind her ear, she grimaces at the thought "Alright I won't ask...you enjoy your bath, maybe I'll see you at work later"

"Love you" she pecks him on the lips taking her drink into her hands and leaving him in the kitchen to smile slightly, Emma enters the room armed with her schoolbag needing Kian to run her to school...

After dropping Emma off at school Kian went to work, he got working on a research project that Jac wanted but he was constantly thinking she was trying to prove a point. With her being in this higher role he was worried in case things didn't work out with their relationship, the last thing he wanted was work getting in the way of what they had. After doing a few surgeries he was sitting in his office, Jac entered and groaned slightly as she sat down. Kian sighed and went to go and sit next to her, she immediately curled into his side and he knew she was having a really rough day so he was brushing his fingers through her hair and soon enough she fell asleep against him so he moved her gingerly so she was laying down.

"Never did I think I would see that" Fletch raises his eyebrows as he enters the office, Kian rolls his eyes "She looks rather peaky don't you think?"

"Yeah she's had a rough morning, I think it's the baby but she won't talk to me so" Kian shrugs and Fletch smiles at him slightly passing him a plastic wallet "Not more things to do, Fletch...I'm up to my eyeballs with research, sorting out everything for the new F1 rotation"

"Tell Jac you're struggling to handle it all-"

"No"

"Ok fine" Fletch raises his voice slightly causing Jac to wake and frown at their expressions "Hey Jac-"

"You have your own office, get lost" she rolls her eyes and Fletch smirks at Kian who smirks back "Go on then, before you give me a reason to sack you"

"I see pregnancy hasn't softened you" Fletch retorts and she just glares at him causing him to leave swiftly, she yawns and then looks at Kian who was smiling at her

"How long was I asleep for?"

"A couple of hours-"

"Why didn't you wake me!" she cries and Kian frowns "I've missed my meeting now-"

"How am I meant to know that?" he questions raising his eyebrows, she glares at him before storming out of the room, he laughs slightly knowing it was probably hormones...

Jac hadn't said a word to him unless it was about work, she was being rather peculiar and Kian knew something was bothering her and he was worried in case it was down to his idea of an impromptu getaway. He didn't think it was but he couldn't help thinking it. Having had to stay on at work for a while longer due to complications of a surgery he performed, he headed home, picking up the bouquet of the biggest flowers he could find. He wanted to apologise for whatever it was and when he entered the house, he smiled softly at Jac and Emma asleep on their bed, he smiled slightly and shook his head placing the bouquet of flowers down on the side. Gently he nudged Jac and she woke up and frowned slightly at him looking down at her and Emma, she kissed her daughter on the head before Kian gently picked her up into his arms and moved her into her own room. Upon returning Jac was sat up in bed admiring the flowers she didn't think she deserved considering how moody she had been all day for absolutely no reason at all.
